We went here for Mother’s Day for the first time. I’m a wheelchair user & online it stated “wheelchair accessible entrance & parking.” It was not wheelchair accessible at all. Parking was across the street. The table we were sat at was so long that you literally had to stretch your arm as far as possible to pass the bread basket. We ordered fried calamari appetizer & it was so bland & extremely fishy tasting. My pasta dish tasted like pasta straight out of the water it was boiled in. It had no flavor or seasoning at all, even with the sauce on it. My fiancé ordered stuffed shells that you could tell were frozen & they were awful. The side salads were lettuce, shaved carrots & 1 cherry tomato. I told our waitress about it & she sent another waitress over who was great. She said she was going to have the cook come out. No one came to the table to address the issues. The waitress came back & said,”I have to charge for the calamari & the soda.”

Love it. One of Auburn's best. My fav. They cut back the menu some, but as always awsome meal. Friendly staff. Seems as ut an extra waitress would have helped, ours worked her butt off. Thank you for keeping something in Auburn quality.

The menu was a lot different than what is posted online. Much more limited. I ended ordering chicken saltimbocca (which was misspelled on the menu). It came with a salad, and a side of thin spaghetti. The saltimbocca sauce tasted very much like a processed sauce from a food vendor, like Sysco. It was bland and too salty at the same time. The chicken was quite tender and had a nice crispy coating. The chardonnay was a bit bitter, definitely not a great quality wine. But the most disappointing of all was the pasta, the one thing you would expect an Italian restaurant to get right. The sauce was unremarkable, but the pasta was way overcooked. Mushy and unappetizing, I left it on the table. The food was not worth the price, in my opinion. Michael's has been in business since 1933, and I believe that was the last time the decor was updated. The dining room was out of date, and my booth seat needed new springs. The little lamp at my table was not working, but the waitress offered no replacement or even a candle. I used the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. I tossed a coin between two comparable menus/restaurants that are literally next door to each other and wish I had gone to...

Was very disappointed as I have eaten here through the years and it was always good. Wait staff was polite, professional and very good other than being a bit rushed. We had stopped in due to the fact that we had called and they supposedly had gluten free options. My husband is celiac. Upon arrival we were told they were out of gluten free pasta. They didn't have any potatoes other than french fries with shared gluten items. My husband had the tenderloins and they were absolutely delicious, but that was all he could eat as they were out of all their gluten free options - even though we called beforehand. My husband got no sides, just meat and a side salad that was entirely lettuce greens with dressing - no tomato - nothing. So he had a very pricey meal with meat only. Would not go back. Have been warning people how bad it's gotten as it used to be really nice. All that money for three small pieces...
