This restaurant is an absolutely great view of Green Lake, and we enjoyed a perfect evening there last night. Our server was incredible, but I would say our drinks were just OK, and the food a little bit disappointing. I chose the brisket quesadilla and my friend added brisket to her wedge salad. Oddly enough, her wedge salad came in a bowl and it wasn’t a wedge at all. But the brisket was really different, it almost seemed like we were eating smoked ham. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be beef, brisket, but it seemed to have an infused smoke flavor this was just a little too much, And the meat for being in tiny bite-size pieces, chopped up in a quesadilla and a salad were tough and not tender. Read morePretty great place tbh. It's one of the few places nearby that we can go and get a semi-healthy salad/ veggie heavy sandwich or meal. Everything at nearby pubs are all deep fried and so sweet I can't eat it. But waves had options and I really appreciate that. And you can't beat the view.
The portions were good if not a little small for the price but with the economy now a day, I guess that's the norm. The potato dippers were realllyyyy good! All the cocktails were too sweet to order unfortunately.
