I'm giving a 3 instead of a 1 because the location seemed to be having some staffing issues the day I went. Me and my family (4 of us) went for lunch inside. Ordered at the kiosk. Order took 10+ minutes to make. We didn't have a huge order, but like I said they seemed short staffed. Got our food, we had no straws for the drinks, had to get up and find straws. Sat back down to realize I didn't have a fork for my bun-less burger (gluten sensitive). I got up to look if they had any out to grab, I couldn't find them. An employee was cleaning up out in the dining area and I asked them if they had any forks where I could grab one. He said go ask the person at the counter. I stood there and no one seemed to notice I was there. The person I asked about the fork then walked past me and into the back and started talking with another staff member. Nothing about me needing a fork. He then grabbed his coat and left his shift, me still standing there. I stood there for at least 5 more minutes before someone said "oh your order will be right up" to which I corrected them that I just needed a fork. She looked at her station and drive thu, no forks. She had someone go in back to grab more. They didn't have any. Didn't have any knives either. So I asked for a spoon so I could eat my burger patty with something besides my hands. I understand in this industry these sort of things happen so I wasnt greatly bothered. The employee that "helped" me by telling me to go ask at the counter, that then walked by me still waiting and then just got his coat and left after chatting for a couple minutes did bother me. That is just poor customer service. He couldn't be bothered to make sure that I was...
Read moreAbsolutely awful location. I have NEVER left a negative review for a restaurant/drive-thru location, and I felt compelled to after repeated, constant bad service and the indifference to outright rudeness of the staff. Our last straw wasn't the FOURTH time in a row our order was missing items, but when they wouldn't let me speak to the manager or return my numerous attempts at contact. Our family loves McDonald's, and we used to eat at that location a minimum of 2× a week, but haven't and won't be returning after this last incident. It isn't unusual to wait in the drive-thru for close to 20mins to have the order messed up or missing items altogether. Countless times I've stood at the counter waiting for staff to stop flirting or finish up their important conversation to place an order. The food quality is abysmal: chances are your burger isn't even assembled all the way in the box. I really hope if you're reading this, you'll make the choice to hit the McDonald's 4 miles down the road where the service is much better. My neighbor's family made this choice as well and between the 8 of us, we no longer go to the...
Read moreWell I just went a while ago today 12/15/24 and they sent me to the 2nd door to wait to my food... I had to go inside to get my food after they made me wait for too long time and the girl told me, Oh sorry it just came out... No it didn't, my food was just sitting on their counter while they were just doing their regular stuff.... No make any sense to make a person wait too long without any reason for any kind of food cause U people don't know what kind of health problems have and U people don't know it the person that U people make to wait for too long needs the food quick.... As a customer service worker I love to make my customers happy resolving their issues as soon as possible. That's why at least I, get tips every day and people comes back and ask for me for service. So, U guys at McDonald's in Johnstown NY just win a huge X from me . I know it won't hurt the company but at least U'll have...
