I was in the same party as Zach Brown; I hadn't planned on writing this review until I saw the owner's petty response to his (seriously, check out their replies to negative reviews - they're hilarious when you haven't wasted your money here). As Zach said, the waitress was awesome. She accommodated our request to move tables for a better view (note that we were literally the only patrons there not seated at the bar) and suggested a delicious drink for my girlfriend (the best part of the meal). The second star is solely for her.
The food was gross. Three of us ordered the steak (mine medium rare, the other two medium), one of us ordered the steak sandwich, and the other two ordered pasta and chicken. All four of us sent our steaks back because they they were so under cooked. When we got them back, we couldn't detect any difference (our running theory is that they were thrown in the microwave). I posted a photo of my steak and Zach's steak sandwich - note that the blood you can see on the plate is from AFTER it was sent back to be more cooked. The pasta was partially cold as well. Based on the other reviews (which definitely deceived us), if you must come here, I would avoid anything more expensive than a burger.
To the owner, if you really are shocked by our experience, our meal was on May 30th between 8 PM and 10 PM and we suggest you fire anyone who cooked that night. To everyone else, you have...
Read moreFirst time trying out this restaurant and was not a great experience. Ordered the spinach dip to start which was pretty mediocre, stale chips. The crispy buffalo chicken sandwich does not come on a garlic toasted roll (it came on a soggy sub bun), the French dip was a Philly cheese steak it also says it comes on a garlic toasted baguette which was not the case it came on the same soggy bun that was with the buffalo crispy chicken sandwich, we got a side of mac and cheese and french fries, safe to say the French fries were the only enjoyable part of our meal along with the ranch. As we are servers we understand that sometimes the food is the issue and we were totally understanding of this, however when bringing it up to our server who happened to be the owner she was quite rude and unprofessional, she also brought who imagine is her child with her and said that it was clear on the menu what we had ordered, when we pointed out that the buns were the exact same (when on the menu says they are two different buns), she said that it was a “soft baguette” which is a straight up lie because they weren’t remotely close to a baguette more like hot dog bun. Overall this experience was pretty negative and not enjoyable. If I could give this establishment 0 stars I would, definitely...
Read morePreface and TL;DR: I really enjoyed it but the service was slow. They were nice about it.
Stopped at noon on a Sunday. Reviews were positive so thought we'd give it a go.
Adorable decor and the tables are embossed with the logo. Seated almost immediately but when I look around to see what everyone else is eating, only one of six tables has food. It's starting to get busier too. We get our water and place our order within five minutes so it's maybe 12:10. Our food came out .. very apologetically, at 12:55. Thankfully we weren't in a hurry.
So, about the food. DEElicious. I got the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich with tots and my wife got the gluten friendly California wrap with fries. The sandwich was excellent - nice and spicy, the tots had a not-store-bought quality to them though they were greasy. My wife said her wrap was awesome and the fries... OMG get the fries.
Marianne was really nice serving us and again so apologetic about the kitchen delays. We understood. Two sandwiches and a 3% transaction fee (what's that about anyway?) later, we ate well for $30+tip.
Would definitely go back and get fries and a different sandwich next time! See you...
