F & A Gourmet Deli 1 — Restaurant in City of Poughkeepsie

The new deli is close so we decided to try it multiple times. The food is very hit or miss. The first order was delicious. The last few times we have ordered, they messed up our order. You simply have to check BEFORE you leave to make sure you got what you asked for. The food has been more "miss" than "hit" recently. The last order, the chicken was woody and felt like chewing rubber. You could actually hear it. I do not think I will be ordering again.

I would also like to add that every single time these people walk past my house they put a menu on my car. I cannot stress this enough that I do not want strangers touching my vehicle! I will be walking into F&A next...

Went in for a nice quiet Saturday morning breakfast pickup. Guy was nice and attentive but when I had a question about the food and how it was made he became extremely defensive. The problem is that after defending the food to the hilt, it was awful and tasteless as I sort of expected based on how it was made. Eggs are more milk than eggs which is not 'gourmet' that's buffet style. Legitimately offered to make for free next time if I didn't like it so I am going to give it another shot. They are new but it was a bad...

First time being here since new ownership. The gentlemen working there seem very nice, though the one not making our food was very pushy on selling us vapes simply by us looking at the poster on his wall. The BEC we ordered was good, the free coffee is so tiny it almost wasn't worth it. We'll probably come by again, though hopefully not pushed towards buying something...
