I do not leave bad reviews but this was a terrible experience. I walked in today for the wing special. Every Monday they have 6 wings for $2.50. I was excited as I had not eaten all day and just left classes. I sat down, and I can tell you the experience went downhill from there. The server I thought was a casual guy walking around was dressed like a thug. He had a pre-rolled blunt behind his ear as if it were a pencil. His pants were sagging, and he was putting his vape away as if no one knew he put it back in his pocket. I ordered two sets of wings and waited for an hour and a half. Even then, I still received no wings. I didn't complain once and he only came to my table once after an hour. The same table that ordered at the same time with 4 more people as I dined alone got their meal 35 minutes before I left. The server stated that he put the order in and I said okay. After another 40 minutes, he walked by stating, "You haven't gotten your food?" I was like, "No, is it coming soon?" and he goes, "Idk I put it in." I find this to be absurd and when I said I might leave he insisted I should. He did mention there was one cook in the kitchen, however, one cook shouldn't take 1.5 hrs to make 12 wings. The presentation by the staff is below par, and not what I would expect from the restaurant industry, and by this experience, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePoor service, waited almost an hour for our food. Half of it was cold food or forgotten (fries) and the other half was good tasting - it was a very good grilled chicken sandwich.
Service is less than abysmal, if you're here for alcohol you get service. If you're here for food only don't bother, you won't get any service and will get actively ignored when asked for anything, such as silverware and napkins. Literally the bartender saw me walk up to ask for something and turned her back to go enter drink orders instead of getting the missing fries and utensils. Ketchup bottles were all empty or missing from tables as well.
No music playing, echo-y open metal roof inside. Corn hole was being played right in the middle of the bar, we couldn't walk thru from the bar/seating area without getting hit by players or interrupting their game. It's mainly a bar, again, and it shows what they care about selling. Don't bother coming for the food unless you've got a long time to wait and money to spend on alcohol.
I spoke to the manager, of which the bartender previously told me he was an off shift employee helping out, and was able to get half the bill taken off for the cold food and terrible service, however that'll be the last time I go there due to the attitude of the bartender and the (dis?...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRestaurant is in same building as a hotel where I was staying. I ordered a French Dip with shoestring fries. Both were cooked to perfection. The French Dip roll had just the right crunch and the au jus dip was exactly the right amountā¦most French dips do not come with enough au jus.
The restaurant was understaff with just one waitress/bartender working very hard. No time for chit chat. I sat in the bar area to make it easier for her. There was nobody seated in the main dining area (see picture). There were around ten people seated at the bar, and lots of local people stopping in to pick up orders.
There was a cornhole event going on in the hotel which also kept the bar busy with players coming in for drinks. One customer brought in his young son who sat at the bar and created a bit of chaos. Once dad had his drinks he went back to cornhole with his son in tow.
Overall I could have done without the music, bar noise, and coming and going of customers. Still, the French Dip was great; the waitress impressive; and the convenience unbeatable; so my few complaints are minor in the grand...
