We went for the Valentines Day special. 80 for 2 drinks, 2 salads, 2 entrees, 1 app and 2 desserts. Other than FB, there wasn't any signage that we saw stating the price or the terms. Yes, there's terms. No substitutions, no add ons, ONLY allowed to order one app. Speaking of, the app we ordered was basically a pickle wrapped in a wonton. I can see what they were trying for but no. The wonton was over cooked and the pickle drowned out whatever flavor profile they were going for. Pass on those. The other food, flavor wise was good. Salmon was very good and nice size. As you can see from the picture the asparagus was a small portion and presentation of both dishes left a lot to be desired. Salmon a bit dry but still very good. The other dish was the Bacon wrapped Prok with mashed potatoes. Also very good. But again, both dishes either needed smaller plates or something else to give it that presentation. Dessert consisted of the cheese cake. Nothing to write home about. Biggest obervation was one plate came out with a giant, like literally the biggest chocolate covered strawberry I've seen. While the other was more than half its size. If you're plating, this should have been caught. Serving, caught. Bring out two small or two big but they should match. Continuity...just another thing that seemed off. Strawberries were dipped in chocolate which came off in a whole shell. Most likely dipped when wet. Service is the big issue with this establishment. I'm surprised to see so many high ratings based off that. The salads were forgotten, brought out with the entree. The bill was brought to us and the dessert order was forgotten, to be placed after a reminder. Beers were 4 bucks, not sure about non alcoholic drinks because the waitress removed one from the bill because of the salad snafu. The dinning area looks very nice with great views. The dinning room chairs are way past dated, uncomfortable and best compared to cafeteria seating with extremely worn padding. The service was extremely slow. Various staff members taking photos of the dinning area patrons, using a ladder to take pics, it was just weird. I can see wanting to advertise or post on social media, but how about taking care of the people spending money right then and there? On our way out another couple stated they were walking out because it had been an hour and no salad brought out. Service was ridiculously slow. I really wanted to enjoy this place and I'll probably try again just because everyone has an off night. There needs to be either better planning, staffing, communication to customers, presentation, or a combination of...

Cadillac Grill was by far, my worst restaurant experience ever. From the moment my wife was asked if she wanted green beans instead of soup or salad for her starter, to being over charged for the soup and the manager refusing to fix the mistake.

To start with, I ordered the chicken marsala and my wife ordered a chicken lemon pasta both with the clam chowder. The clam chowder was clearly Campbell's soup with pieces of imatation krab and chives to "fancy it up". I knew the marsala was going to be different but didn't think it would be what it was. It was THE MOST overcooked chicken I've ever eaten in my life. I think they were trying to punish it for being raw at one point. The marsala sauce was a brown gravy with a little marsala wine mixed in. The mashed potatoes were those instant flake ones you get at the dollar store. Why would anyone willingly pay $16 for this??

My wife's meal fared no better. Her pasta was overcooked to the point of falling apart. The sauce was an oil based sauce that just left your mouth coated in oil. The chicken in that was the same with mine, overcooked beyond belief. The asparagus was mushy... have you ever had mushy asparagus?!?

We ended up having to pay $45 for the meal that should have cost the price of a cheap buffet (if that). This was an insult to the people coming out to visit. I hate people who are all "entitled" to everything but when you pay $45 you should get something equal to or greater than that. Upon giving us the bill, our server didn't even ask why most of our food was left uneaten (probably because she knew how terrible it was).

This made me sad about visiting Cadillac. #notfood...

Along with the other negatives I put in my first review, I will add that this was not our first bad experience here. We decided to give it a try because it had been a year since our last visit and hoped things had improved. Our waitress was new with little training. I am not knocking her, she is new, but why was she put into service before she was ready. Took 20 minutes to get bread. The appetizer we ordered got lost. My burger was overcooked. The green beans were scorched. The staff said they had a large party that was unexpected. But they also had at least 7 servers, the "large party" was about 20, and 3 other tables. Seemed to be plenty of staff for the number of guests. It is a large facility, I would hate to see it if all the tables were filled. Bad service from the wait staff, the bar, and the kitchen....

Best view around! Food is largely portioned, delicious and a great bargain! Expect to need a "take out" container 😁 Friendly staff all around too! Definitely worth every penny and opportunity to visit, also the two Cadillac Eldorado convertibles INSIDE the entrance/lobby area REALLY seal the deal for this place. Their bar is also impressive and stocked with extensive selections of liquor/liqueurs. Scotch lovers would be in heaven. I myself am not a Scotch person, but even I was impressed.

Traveling home to Chicago from Northern Ontario and Cadillac is halfway. Searched for somewhere we'd never been and saw CG, right off the M131 exit! Surprised when we arrived that it's also the clubhouse for El Dorado Golf Course which I've passed hundreds of times (enviously). We were delighted by the delicious food and attentive service from Michelle. We look forward to stopping by again on our next pass through town, and maybe grabbing a loop! PS luv the Caddys.
