I’ll start out by saying the servers were very nice. No problems with them. Barbecue was mediocre. Fried squash was awful. Chicken fingers were awful. My kid wouldn’t even eat them. Baked beans are OK but very sweet. I knew that ordering the food I was taking a chance, and if I didn’t like it, then oh well, I was going to pay for it. But when the server came to pick up the plates, she noticed I did not eat the squash. She asked if I liked it and I was honest and told her no. But I told her I didn’t mind paying for it because I took a chance when ordering. She insisted I take another side home with me in place of the squash so I said OK I’ll take the fries for my kid. The next thing I know the owner came out to the table and leaned into me telling me that he sold two bags of squash recently, and that it was my fault that I didn’t like the squash and it was no fault of their own. He proceeds to tell me how many years they have been in business and reiterated that it is my fault that I did not like the squash and that I complained. I told him I did not intend on complaining. It was very unprofessional on his part. Having been in the restaurant industry for 11 years, never ever does management need to point blame at a customer if the customer does not like the food. I was blown away by him even coming out there to tell me it was my fault. Like why even do that? I guess that made him feel better about running his business but I for one will not return. I don’t know what all these people rave about with this place. Food is not good and they have a bunch of thrift store junk for sale on the wall.

Read moreWe came in today because we haven’t eaten here in years. Well, never again. Every single table was dirty. So we sat at the cleanest dirty table we found. Nobody acknowledged us, so I walked up to the counter to order. Some other people started coming in and sitting down and immediately got service that came to their table and they got their food even though we ordered anywhere from 5-10 minutes before they did. When we did get our food, we got it in to go containers and bagged up. I never ordered To-go, so we just unpacked everything and ate there. The waitress was apologetic but jeez, way to make paying customers feel unwelcome. When I took my toddler to the bathroom I noticed you can buy used shoes with actual cobwebs on them for $7.00 if that’s your thing. They also have drain stoppers for $3. And crack lighters for $1. I know this is more of a “mom and pop” kinda place but I didn’t realize the standards were so low to have the place covered in filth. I honestly should’ve left when I saw the restaurant was dead and every table was dirty. I really wouldn’t recommend it for dine in, if the FOH looks like that who knows what’s...
Read moreSad to say, the food is only OK. Their BBQ sauce is sweet-talk and spicy-hot, but the meats are mostly dry and tasteless. The "pulled pork" looked like it went through a meat grinder and the BBQ chicken, I think, was boiled before they dipped it in the sauce. The "Brunswick Stew" was soupy thin and only hinted of meat. The server, a sweet, friendly young woman, made the meal bearable,or we'd have left sooner. We have no reason to ever go back to Hannah's...
Update: I've downgraded my mark to two stars after trying their "barbecue beef" - a serving of dry, virtually tasteless slices of overcooked meat with a ladle-full of their sauce poured over it. The slices under the top one never saw any sauce, so you have to wonder how the stuff qualified as BBQ. For all I can tell, it was boiled, like the chicken.
