Pizza Pub — Restaurant in Clarion

Tried this place just over a week ago on our way to visiting my dad's hometown and siblings in the Tamaqua area. Since we were staying the night at a nearby hotel and not exactly in a hurry going anywhere, my wife mentioned she didn't wanna settle for typical fast food so with its high ratings and rave reviews; Pizza Pub it was.

When we first walked in, didn't get that feeling that everyone was watching us like "oh they're not from around here". Although it looked like the kind of venue that most of the locals hang out at, I-80 isn't far so people passing thru shouldn't be anything new for these guys.

I must say the food here overall is delicious at fair prices especially the pizza, dining room was clean and the service was very welcoming & friendly. This is my wife & kids' first time in PA so my wife & stepdaughter took advantage in trying their very first hoagie which they loved. I knew I was gonna have a Yuengling on draft with my meal.

A local-owned venue I would gladly come back to support but sadly that may not be anytime soon. We're from the Chicago area and the last time I myself was in this state was 2011 before I met my wife. I most definitely wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s)...

Asked my boyfriend to stop here on the way home during our 10 hour car ride. We are from Michigan, we were coming from Massachusetts. I don’t regret it at all. The food was delicious and well priced. $11 per person. We enjoyed the amazing sauce and homestyle crust. We tried the cheese garlic bread, pepperoni and cheese pizza. My only complaint (if you want to call it that, I’m not upset) is they gave us a veggie Stromboli instead of a pizza one. The Stromboli itself was good, just not what I was in the mood for. They need to learn how to do business either make bigger batches of the harrys ingredients or stop selling it its mot fair to "run out" of harrys ingredients as i was told 2 weeks in a row and its about the tenth time atleast in 4 months common sense would tell me if i ran oit first nite of a 3 nite special sumthin isnt rite and would obviously increase the amounts i am sure it will keep overnite till next day of...
