A great selection of bulk candy and other grocery items (I found a spice I've been looking for for months) as well as in-house bakery items (sandwich loaves including whole grains and gluten free, sweet rolls, cookies, muffins, sweet breads, and pies), ice cream by the scoop, made to order sandwiches, take-and-bake pizza, and breakfast burritos (make with local eggs, sausage, and bacon). A great place for a quick lunch or snack as well as a well-stocked grocery if you want to go homes and cook. Read moreI love this place. I drive 146 miles on average of three to four times every summer. So this is not a bad review, just expressing a little disappointment. I thought the bakery was fresh daily. This last trip over I purchased over $130.00 of baked good, two pizza's and other items from the shelves. I looked things over briefly, on the assumption that the bread was fresh. I found out differently when I got back home (146 miles later) and one of the loafs was covered with mold, albeit it was probably fresh mold, but nonetheless I chose not to eat that loaf of bread. We get phone calls back RAVING about their treats. Don’t we know it!! We eat from The Pantry numerous times per week, whether it’s breakfast burritos, sweet breads, ice cream cones, sandwiches, etc. They also have great spices, they will slice sandwich meats and cheeses, and they have all kinds of organic foods. The staff is superb. They are all gracious, smiling, and customer service oriented. It is often VERY busy, but well worth the wait....
