Ang-Gios Restaurant — Restaurant in Clark Township

Our Jeep group left Drummond Island & as a group we decided to give this place a try. The server who greeted us (the definition of greeting must mean something else to this lady) was rude. We are a group of 10 who are pretty easy going. We enjoy going out as a group & do a trip in this area 4-5 times/year. The server instead of saying hello/welcome told us we would need to sit by whoever is together on one check because it is “too hard keeping track of who is together.” I have worked in the service industry for years & never once had a group get upset when/if I had to clarify who was on one check. When we said we would gladly help her separate the checks, she then stated she would put everyone on their own check & we could “just figure it out.” Our group shrugged this off, but then overheard her talking to another table about our trucks with trailers out in the parking lot “taking up too much space.” We parked along the edge of the lot leaving room for other patrons. Our group ordered food & drinks. We were never once offered a refill on a cup of coffee or drink. We were never once checked on once our food arrived. My youngest daughter who has short hair, wearing a pink unicorn outfit was accused of being a boy & told to get out of the women’s restroom. I have gone to this restaurant on many occasions. The service is normally pretty good. Tonight was an exception. Horrible service. The food there is normally pretty good as well. Again not tonight . I ordered a medium steak (looks about rare to me) and my boyfriend ordered a well done steak (looks about medium. Was still bloody) I asked for no gravy on my tatters but they put it on there. The only thing we had to say was good tonight were the drinks. I will definitely tell people to try this restaurant it has been good in the past. Walked in and sat down right away. Our server greeted us and asked us what we would like to drink, from there it went downhill. She was talking to other tables and 15 minutes later we got our drinks, thankfully we were ready to order. Our food was good, but she only came by once to check on us, and when we went to cash out I stood there for a long time while she talked to more tables. She definitely needs to learn customer service. We felt we weren’t important and wasn’t worth the time, we paid well for our meals. Prob won’t be stopping again...
