Northcoast coffee is located inside of EJ Mertaughs Boat Works. Like much of the upper peninsula gorgeous woodwork can be experienced throughout this space of curiosities, coffee, ice cream, and anything else you need for your boat.
For the complete experience, you should arrive at Northcoast coffee in your boat after dinner.
I recommend the jersey mud as this particular Sunday has a long history in Les Cheneaux region.
My sister would disagree with me, because she feels very strongly that the Samoa ice cream is the a pitta me of human technological and culinary achievements. I wish I knew whether or not she was right but, unfortunately, during my recent visit to North Coast Café, they had sold out of us apparently very popular flavor.
Fortunately this is not my sister’s Google guide review page, it’s mine. But if you think that I sound really petty and jealous in this review? It might be because that’s how I feel. I really want to try this famous ice cream.

They also sell a drink called the Caffeinated Cow, a salted caramel milk shake with 2 shots of espresso. VERY good.
We were also lucky enough on one of our trips to North Coast to get a fresh baked salted oatmeal raisin cookies. About the size of a small plate, these were fantastic.
