Toni’s Ice Cream is a long-standing favorite in the Adamston area of Clarksburg, and it’s easy to see why. This local gem offers both walk-up counter service and a drive-thru option. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with umbrella-covered tables and four covered picnic tables—great for families or just enjoying a summer treat. The space felt clean and had that authentic hometown vibe. 🚗 Pro tip: The drive-thru was extremely busy during my visit. We parked and walked up to the counter, ordered, and were already enjoying our ice cream before a nearby car in the drive-thru even reached the window. If you can, skip the drive-thru and head to the counter for faster service. Atmosphere: 4/5 – Classic small-town ice cream stand with lots of outdoor seating and local charm. Service: 3/5 – The young woman at the counter got the job done quickly, but she wasn’t very welcoming. A little friendliness would have gone a long way. Food: 4/5 – The ice cream here really impressed me. I tried the Blackberry Cobbler Flurry, which is similar to a Blizzard at Dairy Queen—but more unique. It was original, packed with flavor, and honestly worth the trip on its own. I’d definitely go back just for that! Overall, Toni’s Ice Cream is a popular local spot with solid offerings. Despite the lukewarm service, the quality of the ice cream and the community feel make it a place I’d recommend—and return to.

Ice cream is so good. Food not available Sunday or after 8PM. Was so busy we had to leave. The first time we came there was only 4 cars so it only took 20 min to get in and out. Yesterday, Sunday, Walk up line was about 20 people and drive thru had 10 cars so we waited about 20 min then left. They were doing about 1 walk up and one car every 3-5 minutes so if we stayed I estimated about one hour before we would have had our order taken. I don’t know why their service is so bad because they are an established fan favorite. It’s hard to park because of drive thru line. Park behind in shopping lot and walk over. Fried pickles were a bit soft and soggy. I ate them anyway because I love fried pickles. I wouldn’t order them again. They really need to move locations to a place where they can double their staff and service more people at once. Today I tried to come back and it was still pretty busy but not as bad as yesterday. Got in and out in 30 min thru drive thru with about 5 cars a head of me. I will be back because this is the only place I know of here like it.

Very pleased with the reopening of a life long favorite place. It was a special treat to get to go to Toni's for me and my brothers growing up. So I was skeptical at first. But, I can confidently say it was wonderful. Fast service, friendly staff and the food and ice cream were delicious. Only complaint was they didn't have any coleslaw. I loved Toni's slaw dogs. Bring back slaw dogs! Terrific otherwise. Caution: CERTAIN TIMES OF DAY THEY ARE PACKED AND CARS CANT GET IN THE PARKING LOT.

The worst service of anywhere we have went. Waited literally over an hour to get icecream. I would have left but I had my granddaughter and we’d promised her icecream. The workers were so disorganized they were randomly waiting on different windows with no strategies at all. They were bumping into each other and messing up a lot of orders that had to be remade. The people in line waited forever while they started trying to get vehicles out since they were lined all the way to the road. Once I finally got to the window I gave our order, nothing hard, 1 small chocolate cone, 1 kids twist cone with crunch coating and 1 kids vanilla cup with cotton candy sprinkles. Went to the pickup window. Every item ordered was wrong. Tried to explain what was all wrong but finally just tried to make sure my granddaughter’s order was right so we could keep her happy and be done. Tried giving the place one more try a few weeks later. Drove up in the middle of the day on a week day. Only had one vehicle in front of us. Waited 25 minutes without the vehicle ever moving nor seeing them handed anything from inside. We backed up and left. We won’t return. This place is too mismanaged to deal with going to it, the wait time for an icecream...
