The food was okay because my experience here wasn't pleasant so it actually made it hard to enjoy the food. On a average Saturday afternoon I came to try this local spot for the first with my neighbor. I ordered a chicken burrito, gordita, quesadilla and got some treats from the stores shop. Which might I add were very good. However I got all my items to go and so did my neighbor. She had already checked out and the waitress seem very rushed to get us out of the building. When I went to purchase my food it was already bagged up on the table and ready to go. No ticket or anything to actually verify the contents. So I then proceeded to pay it was $25.00 no biggie. However I got home to discover that my order was partially there and my neighbors items were in my bag and I was missing a burrito. I had only simply given my neighbor a ride and she was already home so I called back to the restaurant as the burrito was not for me and missing. When I called back I spoke with the waitress who was apparently irritated by me the entire time at the restaurant and told her the issue. She then stated that the cooks made it and it was in the other bag. I then told her that the other lady was only my neighbor and I was not going to track her down to get a burrito that she had already taken in her home. She then told me that I could come get another burrito made but I would get this need to pay for it again because they made it. I then let her know that due to the covid I would not be going to get the burrito and I would need it remade because the bagging issue had nothing to do with what I had already purchased. She then placed me on hold and said that I could come get another burrito. When I arrived she handed me a bag with the box half way turned over. See because this is Mexican food we know it doesn't work well when cold and reheating for certain items with lettuce, and sour cream are not a thing. So unfortunately I have to give them 3 stars because I wasn't daily treated for their mistake and was ultimately unable to sit down and enjoy hot food. Considering I had to make a trip back to get items and left my original food cold upon return. However the burrito was good I was told. So if I ever decide to eat here again I would definitely call in ahead or just simply enjoy in the dining setting. I would also say some customer service skills are needed here because it is clear the waitress has a hard time with taking dine in orders and...
Read moreEdit: I still give it 4 stars. Food is yummy. New servers so service is not as attentive but food does come out quickly. I had the mole plate. Mole, pollo y aroz. Muy delicioso.
Edit: This place is still very good. Had the ribs in red sauce and a carnitas sope.
It was okay. I two carnitas tacos and an empanada filled with beef and potatoes. The food was good and filling. Dining area has about five booths and eight tables. Not much for decor but it was clean. Ample parking. Open for lunch and dinner. Service was very good. Waitress checked on me several times and was friendly/courteous from the time I came in until I left. They also sell some Mexican candy, snacks, and Mexican pastries. I will return at a later time and try something different on the menu and edit my post. I went back and had their mole plate. It was very good.came with a side of beans and side of rice. A large piece of chicken smothered in mole (a red spicy gravy made with chocolate). The portions were generous except for mole portion but I asked the waitress for extra and she quickly brought out a small bowl out. I updated my rating to 4 stars because service and food were...

I stopped in on a friends suggestion. I was getting food to go for several ppl in a moving party... 16 tacos, 2 burritos, 2 empanadas, 2 orders of rice and beans.
The food is EXCELLENT and AUTHENTIC. so many of the local mexican restaurants serve the "southern" idea of mexican food w lots of cheese sauce, bland salsa, thick refried beans, etc. I grew up in southern california and texas. ive spent time in mexico. the food here is just like being in those places. the beans were wonderful. the chicken, carnitas, and carne asada in the tacos, burritos and empanadas were so flavorful, juicy, and tender. not a bit of cheese sauce on anything. the empanadas were my favorite. the green sauce is so yummy. the red sauce is also yummy but the hotter of the 2.
its a small place. looks like a minit mart at first. they have a few tables. all that food took less than 15 min to make. i was so impressed with the food that i will make special trips to go there since i live over...
