We know Tony from a diner in Newark where he was the manager. My wife and I heard he was opening his own place and wanted to congratulate and support his ventures as customers. Tony and his wife Stella easily handle everything from the counter to serving to cook. They are personable and attentive to customer needs. Once the word gets out about the quality of the food, they’ll need help. I’m thinking that will sooner than later. The menu is quite expansive but as Tony explains once he gets a feel for what the neighborhood wants, he’ll specialize in a more manageable menu. We started our meal with an appetizer sampler which was delicious and plentiful. Lunch included a small Tony’s special pizza, a Philly cheesesteak wrap, and a French dip sandwich all tasty. Huge portions enabled take home portions that were just as good the following day. Needless to say, we will be back!

Came in hungry, left with a math problem and a side of disappointment. Let’s talk numbers here. I paid $16 for three chicken tenders—yes, just three. That’s $5.33 a tender, which would sting less if they were warm. But nope, cold as the fridge they probably came out of. Each bite felt like I was chewing on someone’s leftovers. And then there were the broccoli bites. $12 for eight pieces? That’s $1.50 per tiny, cold nugget of broccoli. For $28, I could’ve gotten a decent meal somewhere warm and inviting, but instead, I got a $2.83 per-bite math lesson served on a plate of sad, chilly food. We’ve been ordering online from this place for a while, trying to support local businesses. It’s such a shame to see them go the way of so many other restaurants around here.

I personally wouldn’t give anything in this area 5 stars but Stella is definitely deserving of a top rating. Compared to other pizza joints around here this one is top 3 easy. I will NEVER order delivery from Pats select in Smyrna now that this place is open. We order delivery almost every-time through the slice app and they follow the ā€œspecial instructionsā€ everytime . We ordered pizza last time and it was great just wish it had MORE sauce. This time we got shells (came with salad) Stella’s version of Cobb salad (sadly did not have egg or blue cheese crumbles) and a cheese steak wrap (with fries) overall everything was delicious. Did not think to take photos until we already started eating šŸ˜‚ but still worthy since it was delivered!!

Wanted to try the newer local pizza place. I try to give my money to small independent business. Ordered a large cheese pizza and "mozzarella fries". When I went on the website for Stella, it suggested an app for online ordering. So I downloaded it. No hassles with the app. But $34 later, I placed my order. They hit you with a $5 delivery fee. Beating even door dash fees. Then tip of course is separate. How was the pizza? It was a solid 2.5 out of 5. Crust was under cooked. Lacked sufficient cheese. Yet the flavors were pretty spot on. The crust was doughy to the point it was not really edible. The $8.49 mozzarella fries..... I literally laughed when I opened the container. It was an order of fries, with a bit of cheese melted on top. It reminded me of being a kid and learning that you could microwave cheese on top of chips and crackers for a great after school snack.

Anyway, I have no intentions of spending anymore of my money here. Going to stick with the other Smyrna/Clayton small business...

I only ordered a salad, so I figured there would be no issue, but it wasn't worth the $16.79 I was charged, even though the receipt I signed was for them to charge $13.99. I know this because im notified after every transaction. Either way, it wasn't worth it. The romain was wilted, not fresh at all. The crispy bacon was bacon bits. The crispy chicken was warmed up tenders, not hot, warm, and not crispy at all. The portion size was nothing compared to most other restaurants. Overall, I was disappointed . What makes it worse is that I only really wanted to use the restroom. It's Easter, and nothing in the area was really open. I purchased something because most places required you to do so to use their facilities. Of course, the restroom was out of order, which I didn't see until after I ordered. So I left with a salad that I was overcharged for, which wasn't even worth finishing, and I still had to find another...

Stella’s has a lot of growing up to do… They need to stop using Ragu as their sauce… Ragu will not pass for real Italian foods… Classico or Rao is a much better choice… Stella’s bread was good, but they need better equipment to cook… But as I stated, they are growing… There other non Italian foods are good… I’m not an expert on Italian cuisine but I’m from the New York metropolitan area which deals with the best in Italian cuisine… So until you get thru the growing stage, I will have to pass on the Italian cuisine… Good Luck and I pray you succeed šŸ™šŸ˜Š I may have been too harsh on them because they were very accommodating and very friendly… I only tried their Calzone which actually was very good except for the Ragu Sauce… I didn’t try their pizza yet… I might try their pizza the next time I gošŸ˜Šā€¦ In Italian cuisine, the sauce is a very important component… Ragu doesn’t cut it… I think I will give Stella another...
