Had a pretty mixed experience with this Perkins. We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to have a more substantial breakfast than what the hotel provided. We pulled in around 8am. The parking lot was not very full so it didn't seem overly busy. We walked in, and was met by a hostess who didn't seem enthused to be there. She sat us at a table next to another family. We watched multiple times as three different waitresses attended to tables, but ignored us. The hostess came out to the dining area many times, straightening chairs, tweaking tables but never noticing us, despite seating us. Finally my wife and I both made sure to make eye contact with her and she finally came over and asked for our drink orders. Again, she wasn't very enthused about helping us. This was after 20 minutes. If we were smart, we should have just left after 10 minutes, but we were already running behind, and this was the only close option we had for real breakfast food. I also watched during this time as a large party (8 people) came in and got seated on and waited on immediately, while we were ignored. There were other tables as well that never got attention, and I watched as an older gentleman got up and told a waiter that another gentleman needed waited on. We got our drinks and my wife ordered coffee. The hostess poured the coffee into the mug with the spout being 3+ inches over the mug, so it splashed on the table and almost onto her clothes and arm. Scalding liquid splashing, what could go wrong? Finally our waitress came over, and the experience actually got better. She was clearly busy (despite 3 waitresses in the place and it not being busy at all....) and she was fairly attentive and provided good service. I ordered a meal and requested two things be left out of it, which she said they might not be able to do but would try. Lo and behold, it was missing those two items when it got to the table, so props for that. Food came out fast, and was well prepared. Had we got seated immediately and not ignored, this would have a few more stars, but the seating experience and being ignored by multiple members of the staff really rubbed me the wrong way. At least we got a $5 discount for staying at the Microtel, so we got something for our trouble. We really should have went next door to Taco Bell, where at least we knew we would be...

We started with their famous blueberry Pancakes, and they were nothing short of heavenly. Fluffy, golden, and bursting with a perfect medley of berries, these pancakes set a high standard for breakfast bliss. Next, we savored the enticing Country Fried Steak, which was exquisitely tender and generously smothered in a rich, savory gravy that was simply divine.
For lunch, I opted for the scrumptious Salad, which was a vibrant assortment of fresh greens, crispy lettuce, and luscious cheese.
