Often it is way too hot in there. The poor baristas. As a customer it is uncomfortable. I have been going here since 2020. I am a regular like every other day customer I live a few blocks away and I sometimes even go twice in a day. I order chai tea or flat white and usually egg bites blahx3 Essentially I spend A LOT of money in this store. Since moving to Cleveland I have hated it and this is one of two places I love Tommyâs and here. Anyway I bought Rockefeller house by same architect of this store. So obviously I love the vibe and the historic architecture I also love the quaint little store and they do good business for their size.I like all of the staff in fact I very much like every single person who works there until today; well a week ago the same person I felt was rude to me. I donât think she got I was being sarcastic and joking with her about them being out of burritos like a bakery w/ frozen foods. Not sure but she has been rude to me twice now. I am usually a nice person but today I lost it; I really was livid. Again I have been through a lot in the past couple of years and this is the one place in Cleveland I like and enjoy. I have always liked Starbucks even ordering from their store on Uber eats but I also like to work in public place and check emails and type out proposals yada yada yada. Well anyway I have my computer which is Mac and my iPhone an apple both of which you canât use without my fingerprint both of which has location services on both of which I have insurered and the iPhone is old. It has been my longest working phone and I love it but it isnât worth a lot.The point is I wanted to let them charge up and I had ran into the landlord of the building who was getting rid of very nice expensive stone. So I stepped out and took a load of the stones back t my house. I had my drink at the table and when I got back they were gone. The store was not very busy the tables were not in demand. The barista named Pan was very curt and rude to me and she is half my age and lecturing me saying she isnât responsible for my stuff so I said then donât touch it if you arenât responsible which I never asked you to be then simply leave it alone. I have often left my set up when I have stepped out and nothing has ever happened and if it did it would be my fault but everyone knows apples are useless to steal bc you canât unlock them. I came back an hour and half before closing. I donât care if they moved it and had good intentions what I had a problem with was her lecturing me and telling me if I do it again I may not be able to come to the store. It was infuriating to spend the amount of money I do monthly and to mind my own business and have someone messing w/ my setup. It wasnât the fact they did it rather how she was speaking to me. The electronics both have trackers no one needed the table and it is my choice and even if you donât want me stepping out then put up a sign or tell me in a nice polite manner. Threatening a customer to not shop at your store is insanely bad etiquette and rude.I work remote for a company out of Montreal and I donât want to shut everything down just to run an errand. The point is she was combative with me and rude which is such a shame. It is shocking to have someone half your age threatening you to not be allowed to be a customer. I understand it isnât saks fifth avenue and they donât need to kiss your ass I understand people worry but care should be taken with regular customers. Also lately there have been more mistakes. My chai is always the same grande 6 pumps instead for 4 whole milk extra hot since I have it so often I know exactly how it should taste and twice recently I believe with Pan it was way too sweet. Not end of world but definitely vibe has declined for me. All I want is to be left alone. My experience today was a 1 but usually it is a 4 I would give 5 but due to how hot they keep the store I canât give it 5. They triggered...
Read moreThis location is like a bad fast food spot of the coffee world. They remind me of the soup czar in Seinfeld. Breathe wrong and itâs bad coffee for life. Yeah itâs a $6 coffee. If itâs messed up I want another one. Simple as that. I always order thru an app in the morning. They give me what their current mood feels like giving me I guess from asking for a correction before. Sometimes they give me what I pay for. Sometimes itâs borderline offensive. This morning I ordered a pumpkin spice latte for my teen daughter. Opened the cup. Itâs a bunch of hot orange slop. I guess thatâs the sauce??? Then they put these smiley faces on the bag. And an exclamation point after my name. Itâs so bizarre. You botch a $6 coffee then put a smile on the bag??? UMMMMM⌠At this point I feel like itâs intentional. How do you mess up this bad all the time? You donât need to work there to know that coffee, milk, and foam is part of a latte. I donât know what the slop was. Or why they do it⌠That was my last time trying this location though. I donât trust stuff like this when Iâm consuming something....
Read moreThis is a small location with walk in only options but its one of my favorites. It had a local coffee shop feel with all the perks of being a corporate chain. The staff changes but are always friendly. The case is always will stocked with pastry and sandwich options. A hidden gem is the grilled cheese and the fruit and cheese box. I also love this salt and vinegar chips. I usually get my standard drink but the staff puts their suggestions up on a chalk board that have helped me to venture out and try new things. Their rewards program is awesome and I've gotten basically all my Starbucks cups and water bottles using my star points. You can also trade in points for free food and drinks or to upgrade your drink. I love that this Starbucks is right here!! My favorite...
