Omar's Seafood & Grill — Restaurant in Cleveland

Friday I was home sick and my concerned husband went to get me some fish from Omar’s fish at 12520 st. Clair. He paid $25 for the food got the ticket and went down the street to open pit to see if they had baked potatoes (thoughtful) because all Omar serve is French fries and cole slaw and he knows I prefer baked potatoes. So when he walked back into Omar’s he gave the man his ticket to get his food. The man snatched his ticket and refused to give him his order (disrespect) then told him he had been in there earlier and got his food (we all look alike). This man cussed my husband and threatened to do him bodily harm. Such major disrespect my husband David Johnson is 72 years old and should be treated with respect and this act was dishonorable to every Glenville resident ( would Omar want someone to treat an elder in his family this way I think not). I ordered walleye and got whiting. I paid $26 dollars for whiting? Yall have to understand that not everyone is dumb. I know my fish. I don’t know if it was a mishap or purposeful but either way it shouldn’t have happened. I also ordered shrimp and orange roughy, I got talapia and shrimp. Are you guys scamming customers? Seems like it. Yall think people don’t know the difference but I do!! Also everything was overly salty. I understand that the owner passed, may he r.i.p but this is unacceptable! Do yall need a new GM? I can come in and get you all together! This is not it. I got a refund from Uber eats. I NEVER ask for a refund unless warranted but that food was horrible! I’ve always had great experiences at Omar’s. This is sad. Hopefully you guys find resolution with urgency. The whole staff needs an overhaul at this point . The food was mediocre at best. The sauce was an awful mixture of ketchup and hot sauce. The staff's attitudes were terrible (the woman in particular). Telling a customer they were being anal because they wanted a detailed receipt is never acceptable. Not only did she disrespect a customer, she berated a staff member in front of customers, telling him he was a moron.

Instead of using a tracking system to keep track of customer orders like other restaurants do, they ask customers what they ordered. They messed up several customers' orders in the short time I was there (including mine). I went here on the recommendation of another person, and it's pretty safe to say I'll never go back. I'll stick with their competitor (Open Pit)...
