The Grand Bistro and Bar — Restaurant in Cleveland

What can I say about almost perfection. I have eaten here 2 times now and both meals were fabulous. The first meal was the pork chop. You do not even need a knife, this thing is amazing. And the risotto is too darn great. The second was the back 9, and it has a strong resemblance to shrimp and grits NC style, BUT even better because the risotto instead of grits here is absolutely amazing! I did not care for the deviled eggs but that is a personal taste issue, very mustardy and dilly. The risotto with egg app is a must try, must must must. So great. The atmosphere is nice. Decor is very modern and cozy. AC is on and works well. We were seated right away both visits. It was around 12-1 pm. Everyone is very friendly. The only thing I have to speak about it the service once at the table. The server we have had both times was the same gal and she was very nice. However, and this is a very soft however, she does seem to be new and does not come back to the table nearly enough. I think maybe this could be a first serving job so I am just making a mild critique here. Maybe the training and help from other servers could be amped up. I had to go to the bar 2 times for help and all servers were standing up there and could not see the guests on the other side of the wall. Overall this is a gem and I really hope everyone with interest will support this establishment. It definitely has the charm and quality to bring people...

A true diamond in the rough (it’s located in a country club). So glad to have this place locally.

Me and my wife live in the area, and often find ourselves driving into Houston or Woodlands to find a restaurant that delivers elevated plates and cocktails.

-We tried several of the cocktails, and they were fresh and delicious, worth the price. -The corquettes were sublime and a must try. The risotto was so full of flavor, like everything we tried. I doubt you will find anything on the menu that isn’t thoughtful and well executed. The staff was friendly, and very attentive.
