Country Donuts — Restaurant in Clifton

I’m not sure why anyone would rate this shop less than 5 stars. We drive from Valley Mills for this shop and we have a donut shop right here in town. The weekends - they sell out quick so get there early, but everything is delicious. There have only been a couple donut shops that I like outside of shipley’s. These donuts are light and airy, the Kolache’s are delicious, and they even have ones with croissants wrapped in bacon. Their little burritos are really good, the salsa is great as well as the cinnamon rolls. I haven’t gotten anything we didn’t like from here yet. Normally would give a 5 star review on this place but today they told me to pull around at the front, we waited for 10 mins for our order to come out only to go inside and be told our order was ready a long time before and they forgot to bring it to us. We were not the only ones this happened to. My kids were late to school because of waiting so long. Other than this time I have always had good experiences. There was an excellent selection of donuts, kola he's, too, even though we were there around 9:30-10:00. Tne "Starbucks" that a haxnd-printed sign lists are just cold bottles & they were out of large mocha. The donuts were delicious, even the cinnamon rolls. Service was fast & polite, prices reasonable.
