Murray's Tavern — Restaurant in Clifton

It's OK for a place in Clifton. The service is lacking and the selections are few. Food was good and you can tell they try which is a plus. If you want a classier place look for one without gambling machines. Maybe they should swap entrances for the restaurant. The sausage and pepper app was amazing. I'm not sure why they only give you 2 pieces of bread with the oil.

Update: I got 4 pieces of bread this time! Sadly this last experience was poor. Food came cold and had to be "heated". Unacceptable really. Even my veggies were barely warm. Filet was very fatty and not worth the 25.00 price tag. You can have high hopes for a place but still be disappointed. The 2 drinks we got were also very watered down. Not likely to eat here again, sorry. Service needs improvement. I still stand by using the other doors for entry to help the ambiance. Beautiful place with a nice atmosphere however it seems that there is something that is interfering with a great experience. We were the only ones in there which is usually a red flag... and how true that was. We ordered the jumbo shrimp appetizer stuffed with crab meat... supposed to come with 6 shrimp and only came with 4 miniature shrimp... they didn't inform us they didn't have enough for an order and tried to appease us with a few baguettes and marinara sauce when they brought the shrimp, no less for$16.. they didn't even offer to compensate us...I ordered the chicken dinner and the waitress came back and said they were out of it... they did offer a free drink for that inconvenience. Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Prices reasonable. Had the chicken neapolotino, probably not spelling that right. Flavor was good but didn't seem fresh. Wife had mushroom ravioli with beef sauce.
