Like this place- even when it used to be called Miller’s Tavern. Place is NOT easy to find. Is located off of I-78 but it’s not visible from the exit. There is parking in front of the place- but most of the parking is in the back. There is a back door (as well as a front door) located in the rear parking lot. Place can get crowded and ALL TYPES of locals frequent this place. Great Irish pub feel with lots of TV’s with sports playing. They even have lottery, keno @ trivia in the TV. Food is good and drinks are good. Hmmm- great food, great people, nice staff, sports on TV, NJ Lottery & Keno, free parking??? What else could you want???? Go and enjoy!!

Fantastic local place with great food and vibes! I have now been there twice: once with my 9 year old daughter and once with my 12 year old son. Both kids have different tastes and both loved the food. I had their well known Jameson Chicken sandwich the first time and it was delicious with a Jameson whiskey based sauce, cheddar cheese, bacon and frizzled onions topped by a brioche bun. This evening we had great cheese curds and I had Bangers and Mash, a classic British/Irish pub meal. It was great and had generous portions. Overall I’d recommend this place because of its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and just great food!

I was really disappointed during my recent visit to this bar. We arrived at 9:40 PM, hoping to grab some food, but the kitchen was already closed, even though the bar stays open until midnight. I get that closing times can vary, but it was frustrating that we weren’t allowed to order food from another place either. To top it off, the bartender wasn’t friendly at all. I used to work as a bartender in New York and I would get in trouble if I talked to my customers like that. She made us feel unwanted, so, obviously, we left. Both her and the owner could’ve made some extra money if we stayed there.

I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because I had a good time during my last visit, but this time was a letdown. I hope they can improve their service moving forward! Now, addressing the owner's reply. It would be fun if you showed me we arrived at 9:58. It was definitely someone else. I am not lying. I checked a text message I sent someone when we were on our way home driving for 5-7 minutes already, and it was 10:03. I can provide a proof. Also, my husband was on the phone with someone at the bar at 9:53. So what you are saying is impossible. We came at 9:40-9:45 max and stayed there for about 10 minutes while I was checking if anything else was open. Feel free to send me a video proving that we came in at 9:58, and I will remove my review. Now, I'm decreasing my rating to 1 star. I am not expecting the kitchen to make any food for us, but it's a bar, not a restaurant, and both bars that I used to work at always allowed bringing outside food. Because we are people. We eat. You know? If bars can’t provide it, they allow bringing outside food. You have the right to impose your rules, but both, you and the bartender, should be nice to...

Absolutely awful experience. We went in right before 9pm, knowing the kitchen closed at 10 so we asked for menus right away. We ordered spinach dip for there and a burger and pizza to go. About 15 min later we were told they were out of spinach dip, which was fine so we asked for a different app while we waited for our to go stuff. About 940 we asked if the app was ready and were told it would be out shortly. 950 rolls around and we asked again and were told the same thing. Once it was after 10, we were finally told the kitchen tickets did not go through but our food would be our shortly. At this point we said no thank you and asked to cancel the orders and to please just pay for the drinks. The bartender was very nice and apologized and gave us our tab. We paid and tipped and went to leave at which point we were bombarded by a man shoving a Togo pizza box and Togo container in our face telling us our Togo food had been ready for 45 min and we need to pay for it and take it. We were taken aback but said we were not told our food was ready and should have been told when it was and that we had already paid our tab and it did not include our food nor would we want to pay for food that had been sitting out for 45 min. The man kept shoving the food in our faces yelling at us telling us we need to take it. I asked if it’s free. The man gave me a scowling look and continued to yell at me and my boyfriend. We told him no thank you and especially do not want anything from a grown man acting the way he was. The man looked like he was about to spit in our face and told us “fine then don’t ever come back here. You aren’t welcome.” We said that’s absolutely fine and left. What a horrible experience for someone new...

My husband and I are weekly customers. Sorry to say tonight was the worst meal/experience ever. I ordered cranberry sangria and got a regular sangria. My fault for not sending it back. It took over 10 minutes for a bowl of chicken rice soup to be brought.

25 minutes later, after we asked our server what had happened to our food, they brought dinner. Shepard's pie for me, breaded pork chop for my husband. There were no peas or carrots in the shepards pie. Not a one. Basically I got ground beef with a strip of mashed potatoes across the top.

The breaded pork chop was burned and artfully concealed with the sauce it was served with. We were at the restaurant for an hour and 10 minutes, most of that time waiting to eat. A couple next to us came in after we gave our drink orders. They ordered drinks and a pizza, were served their meal and FINISHED it as my soup was being brought to the table. Okay, server tries to explain how the pizza line was not busy and the dinner line was, blah, blah, blah. A bowl of soup is ladled into a bowl. What's so time consuming? 15 minutes between soup and meal. The shepard's pie is a staple on their menu. They should be able to make it with their eyes closed. In this instance I think they did make it with their eyes closed.

I will miss their French onion soup which is the best I've ever tasted. It would take a lot of coaxing on my husband's part to get me to give them my money again. And by the way this is not the first time the kitchen service was so slow and/or bad. This is the second time within a month. I let the first one go. Not so sure...
