Road Hog Willy's Real Pit Bar-B-Q — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Y'ALL! Born and raised in Florida and Georgia, I've eaten some really good BBQ! And I've eaten some really good comfort foods. But when I tell y'all, that this food here, made me wanna slap a bear, it was that freaking good! My husband and I ordered takeout. We ordered the rib samplers (2), and I had cheesy taters and baked beans with mine. He had green beans and mac n cheese with his. We also ordered BBQ egg rolls. Y'all! I have experienced VERY FEW people who are able to cook like I cook. And these people NAILED IT! They're BBQ is spot on with flavor, and superior in tender juiciness! Their sauces even taste like mine! This is some good down home, slap a bear, kiss ya mama BBQ/comfort food! Frickin amazing! Now, not downing anybody or anything, but bless Ohio's heart, I haven't found too many restaurants with.... well, flavor up here. I love Ohio! Love the people in Ohio! Absolutely wonderful people! It was a great experience, service was attentive, quick, and friendly, but the food was just too amazingly delectable to be believed, I will most certainly be returning, so you'll just have to try it yourself. It's really casual and comfortable dining. I felt at home there. I am stuffed to the gills. The portions are quite substantial. You won't walk away hungry. They have A BBQ Slaw Dog that sounds mighty taste, the hubby got the BIG WILLY'S BBQ Smoked Sausage and a side of baked beans, it nearly whooped him. He struggled with the second half of it, but he said it was so good he couldn't quit eating it to take it home. A really cool discovery for me was the coffee shop that sells fresh baked goods that is next door, yet a part of Road Hog Willy's. I just have to go back and try some of their fare. Come on folks, they are open from 11AM-7PM Tuesday thru Saturday, come give them a try, you will NOT be sorry you did. They have ribs on Fridays & Saturdays, too. You're gonna love 'em. Came here the other day right before I left for a TN trip, having been craving some good BBQ, but partial to the true southern recipes, it's not often you'll find that, north of the Mason-Dixon line.

Who would have thought I'd find it in my own back yard? Lots of recommendations and it took me awhile to leap, but, holy smokes.

I've been to some of the top notch BBQ restaurants in the South, and, Road Hog Willys will match any of them with their food!

The decor is nice, inviting, and spacious. I enjoyed the inside, a ton. It was a fair temperature, and not super crowded. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, where I could just relax and eat some awesome BBQ.

The prices are beyond reasonable, and, you can order for carry out and in larger portions.

I figure I'll visit here frequent in the future, for myself, and to show others who are visiting a great BBQ...
