Our family visited Village Creamery and Grill and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, given the affordable prices. Here's a detailed breakdown of my experience:

Food: Smash Burger: The smash burger was exceptionally good. The patty was juicy and well-seasoned, with a perfect sear that added a delightful crunch. The toppings were fresh and complemented the burger perfectly. Fries: The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, seasoned just right. They were the ideal side to the burger, not too greasy, and maintained their crunch throughout the meal. Grilled Cheese: The grilled cheese was a standout. The bread was buttery and toasted to a golden brown, while the cheese was perfectly melted and gooey, creating a deliciously comforting bite.

We had the smash burgers & they were very good. We were not disappointed!! Menu options for food is limited, but there is probably a reason. If you are a vegetarian, you could get a grilled cheese & fries. We each got a single smash burger with our choice of cheese & they were good sized & delicious. Ordered them with a side of fries that was a portion for two. Fries were Hot & Fresh, just how they should be. Also had the mint chocolate chip 16oz. Shake. It was great, minty with small pieces of chocolate, nice & thick but drinkable through a straw. Had to wait a few minutes for food but that should be expected for hot fresh cooked, made to order burger & fries. Nice area under cover to enjoy your meal. There is a drive thru window if you so desire. Great place to stop if you’re passing through on your way to Wooster or heading to Amish area near Millersburg & Charm, Ohio. Since we live so close I really wanted to love this place. The ice cream is fine but the portions are tiny. My partner and I both ordered a large Sundae. The girl at the register said a large would be 3 to 4 scoops of ice cream and pointed to the container example. It looked a little small but I figured the ice cream would mound up above the top of the cup. Nope. Even with a thick layer of waffle cone chips and whipped cream on top, the whole thing barely reached the rim. There was barely any chocolate sauce on it. For $8 I could buy an entire half gallon of Velvet ice cream.

Speaking of waffle cone chips, they tasted stale. My partner said there were a couple of rubbery spots in his ice cream as though it had melted a bit and refrozen, maybe scrapings from the side of the container?

I'm hoping maybe it was just a bad night and one employee was being unusually stingy.
