Stopped by during lunch on June 3, 2023 around 11:30 am. I’ll start with the “good.” The dining room was clean and the food was edible, that’s about all I can really say. I ordered a grilled tenderloin with grilled onions. I asked the waitress if they had pepper jack cheese, she had to ask the cook that had to ask another cook if they had it. No one really knew the answer although I did overhear one of them say she thought they had some in the freezer somewhere. Needless to say I passed on even risking the cheese situation. When the tenderloin came out you could tell it was not fresh but rather it came out of a frozen box of processed packaged square tenderloins. Like I said earlier it was edible but it definitely wasn’t worth the $8.99 they charge for it. The place wasn’t very busy at the time I was there but still I never got asked how the food was or if I needed a refill (iced tea cost $2.79) until after I was already done eating and ready to pay. After taxes and tip this grilled tenderloin ended up costing a total of $15, which is way more expensive than it’s worth. I do not recommend and I will not make a return trip to any of the Benjamin’s Family Dining Restaurants based on the cost, taste and lack of service I received today. I would include a picture but nothing was worthy...

The dinning room was dirty, the booth table is was seated at cluttered , multiple different menues....waitresses uniforms a bit low rate, no hairnets were being used.....asked several times for lemons for my tea....the salad was fresh, and decently proportioned....vegetable of the day carrots were so over cooked they turned to baby food in my mouth.....1/2 rack of ribs.....bland.....steak, well, ...I ordered it med rare.....it was tougher than the bottoms of my boots.....and tasted like it had been thawed out in a bucket of hot water.......I left 98 percent of my meal on the table , and when I told the waitress ( my waitress ) at the register, she still rang it up......$38 , I will never go to any Benjamin's restaurant ever again.........one of the absolute worst experiences I have ever had....I do not recommend this place......if your traveling , your best bet is to keep on traveling in any direction away from Binjamin's..........p.s., there were a lot of flies fighting for a spot at the...

We have eaten here several times for breakfast and also for their walleye special. Went Friday afternoon for the walleye and found they have changed their menu and raised their prices. No more all you can eat walleye; lunch special (as it had been) was gone. Walleye fillets were about half the width they used to be. Ordered the same American fries as we have always had (which had been grilled, browned and wonderful) and we were served slices of potato deep fried so long you couldn't stick a fork in them. Rolls were served, which they did not do before, but they were so hard you couldn't tear them apart. Didn't see the same staff either. We commented on the potatoes and she said they have always served them that way unless you ask otherwise. That is not so. Very disappointed and will...

We went in on a Friday evening for dinner. They were busy but got us to a table right away. The service was friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and was good portions for the cost. Unfortunately the food tasted mostly mass produced and assembled onsite. Burger was clearly premade and frozen. The patty was the cheap kind of mass produced meat that comes out of a box of patties. Had zero flavor. It tasted like sadness on a plate. Salad had refrigerated taste. The Lasagna was okay but we were told it was homemade before ordering. It could have used a little more seasoning as well. Wish the quality of the food matched the customer service.

We chose to eat here randomly after stopping close by to see the Solar Eclipse. It was the best choice! The portions are huge, food home made style. The meat was really good, but the tater tots stole my heart, they were amazingly delicious! The waitresses were really kind and also stopped by our table to ask a bit about us, they are really friendly. The place really gives you the family restaurant vibes, that I love! :) We are from Europe and still have a lot to see in the USA, but I wish one day I could stop by here again!

By far one of the best mom and pop places around. I'm from Terre Haute but I would drive for this place. Servings are so HUGE you can feed 2 people off the same plate. Has good daily deals. The vegetable of the day was less then desirable. They seemed like they were just poured out the can then brought to the table. The chili was very very good. I would get it again. Had alot of beans and little meat but flavor made up for it. Decor was flat and the carpet was torn and dingy but the food was GOOD. We would go again!
