Being from south central Texas and having traveled to Mexico plenty of times (Monterrey and surrounding small towns/pueblos), I would say that I know good Mexican food. My husband & I were passing through and when the restaurant we originally wanted to go to was closed, this was our next best option. Upon arrival, we were happy to find staff speaking Spanish... we knew this had the potential to be great... and we were NOT disappointed! I had the Chile Verde which is delicious, crispy, moist pork drenched in their homemade verde sauce. I asked for corn tortillas because, well, I love the flavor. My husband had the chimichanga with steak fajita. That was a large burrito covered in queso. He said it was pretty delicious too. But agreed the chile verde was the winner. Both came with sides of refried beans and Mexican rice. And of course, the complementary chips & fresh red salsa. We couldn’t stay for happy hour 2-8pm, but will try to find ourselves there for a margarita later. Friendly bi-lingual staff, quick service, and delicious food. Happy to recommend!

This is an alright hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Has your typical Mexican cuisine. I stopped in and had the All you can eat lunch for $7.99.It's $9.99 for dinner but still a bargain. You get one burrito, one enchilada, one taco and a serving of rice and beans and chips and salsa, drink is $ 2.25 or water free. The plus is you can have as much as you want in any combination of said items. You can have it smothered in white cheese sauce for a one time fee of just 99 cents which was well worth it. the rice could have been better but everything else was good. I would highly recommend just to stop in and try the all you can eat as for other menu items I have not tried so I cannot review.

I absolutely love love this place. Margareta on the rocks for my mom. She did a happy dance, Id say they nailed it. I ordered my usual taco salad, tortilla crispy not burnt , just the right mixture of flavors nothing over powers the other. And our table was serviced respectfully by multiple staff members. I WILL CONTINUE TO SUPPORT AND RECOMMENDED!!

OUTSTANDINGLY SUPERB! Honestly the only place I've been able to request items that aren't necessarily on the menu and a little more 'authentic' then the cliche Mexican establishments in my entire life. From fluent Spanish speaking American and fluent English speaking Hispanic staff I was met with unbelievable service. Matthew was my server yet more of a guide to the splendid food, salsa, and specials they offered; guiding me warmly, charismatically, and most knowledgeably through my desired experience and showing me my next delicious experience. Add the inviting ambience and smiling faces diligently attentive to even a newbie like myself and you undoubtedly get the best dine in or take out memory of your life. I'm from now on a regular to say the least. I had only tacos which I ordered custom and were prepared exactly how I requested verbatim. And the brown salsa was the best I've tried anywhere rivalling the most talented taco stand traditions. The music was of excellent flavor as much as the food! They are family owned and it shows in excellent fashion! Tables were bussed immediately and impeccable. Utensils were appropriately cleaned and dishes were glistening. Bathrooms were as if new and the whole store maintains a clean, fresh, inviting fragrance that compliments the decor wonderfully. Jose, the manager, was a very bright and welcoming face whom I was able to share good conversation and inquisitive thoughts without feeling burdensome. My server, Matthew, was bilingual and an younger American who knew what I was looking for and delivered more than I expected. It was honestly him who pushed the stone down the hill to become a regular. Combined with everything else, who could resist? This is by far your best choice within the surrounding area for a good vibe, unparalleled flavor, and great prices and specials here in Clinton and surrounding areas. If you haven't- COME AND EAT! VAMOS A COMER! I highly and fully recommend the entire experience here and look forward to seeing you if Im here....

The restaurant was okay. It's not real authentic it's like a small town place where the locals go. I asked for tacos and they brought me a hard taco with shredded chicken and lotsa sour cream and mozzarella cheese and another corn tortilla with shredded chicken rolled up with white cheese sauce laddled over top. They had no crema just regular sour cream no cojita cheese no Verde salsa and I had to ask for cilantro and onions and limes and they brought me a small amount like those items aren't asked for alot from the local patrons that normally come in.. The restaurant was ok but just not authentic very americanized for sure. It just wasn't what I thought it would be like. But we were traveling thru and I googled mexican and it came up so I thought we would stop and have dinner instead of fastfood. Oh and if you can't eat what you ordered and ask for a To go box they wanted to charge me 10.99$ for a to go box. I said wow thanks but no thanks. The food wasn't awful just nowhere near authentic just Americanized for the folks that live locally. It's a older people's kinda restaurant and you could...
