Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Clover

So my family orders from this location every week. I can attest that they are 90% of the time horrible. I've had one delivery that was actually delivered shortly after placing the order with the correct order. Let me just tell you about today. So we ordered at 5:40 and get the order at 6:30. Okay so we get the food in the kitchen and it's all wrong. My mom calls back at 6:45 and tells them they delivered the wrong pizzas and they said they would fix it and send it out as soon as it's ready. So long story short, she called at 7:40 to ask how much longer and they forgot about the order!!! They claim that they didn't have a free driver, but the first woman that my mom spoke with said it was still in the oven or possibly ready to send. If you're going to lie to customers, at least get the story straight. So here we are, its after 8pm and the order is still not here. Worst experience ever! Great place to eat if you’re looking to walk in and grab your pizza, wouldn’t do delivery in general because it’s a smaller area and I just don’t see it working well in a non city/suburb location. The staff is super friendly and the general manager Nick Craycroft is the best!! He’s really nice and will work with you personally if you need it, vs a lot of places here in Clover who just say they are to busy to chat or make it really hard to reach them if you have anything good or bad to say. If I could give it 6 stars I would, most of these negative reviews are from whoever was running the place before and people who don’t understand how doordash works! It’s pizza (and it’s fast pizza at that) so it’s not the best food in the world but the service is something that most clover restaurants should...

New review as of April 2025/Changes aren't always for the best, there used to be tables and chairs for you to wait or eat at, you can't anymore.
