Ordered ahead and got there to pick it up about five minutes later than their estimated time. One employee was busy on the phone at the front of the establishment, which is understandable for a Friday night. No problem… Another employee (owner perhaps?), told us to seat ourselves if dining in and appeared quite annoyed when I told her that I’d called in an order. She was unfriendly and did not want to honor a Facebook messenger offer (that popped up for me when visiting their profile to vote a picture of their menu) of a free appetizer, stating that “We didn’t put that on there, but I’ll honor it this one time.”. She went on about Grubhub sending people there for orders when they’re not even a part of that service, and scammers on Facebook could’ve put the offer online, etc.
The food was ok. My five year old’s chicken nuggets appeared to be homemade breaded varying size and shape nuggets which were slightly burnt, with soggy burnt-tipped fries. He wouldn’t eat the nuggets due to how they looked and barely touched the fries. Our calzones were very good, though, besides the char taste from their oven… which was also prevalent on the corn poppers and mac & cheese. I figured those two items would be fried, but they seemed to be baked? Also soggy like the fries, and inedible. Not impressed and will not return, nor recommend. Disappointing, as so many others seem to rave about this place. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but it’s not worth throwing money away and being left hungry after dropping $50 into...
Read moreNot sure what the hype is about but what we had was pretty bad. We had a large meaty minus the sausage and the garlic cheese bread. Let me start by saying that if the food is good the price means very little to me. The pizza was extremely floppy and greasy. The bread was so salty it almost made my eyes cross and there were only 4 small pieces in the order....The pizza toppings were minuscule at best other than the extremely thin cheap pepperoni. We really wanted to like this place and have it be the go to for pizza due to there only being chain places near us. $23 for the large pizza and 4 pieces of bread, grossly overpriced for the quality and quantity. Dominos, Pizza Hut, papa J's and all the other chains including the dreaded little caesars are better and I mean...
Read moreOne of our favorite places Update 8/20- I’ve probably eaten here 40-50 times in the last 2 years. I have never once been greeted when I walked through the door. I’ve never once been told Thank you for eating here and I hope you come back… nothing. The seats and tables are old.. that would be OK if this people waiting on you would smile. The owners or the daughter of the owners Do not even look up when you walk through the door. I’m not sure if they are that unhappy or it is just their personality. The bread sticks are good but the customer service is not good at all. Just Not friendly. I find it odd when people that serve the public have no...
