Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Clovis

The first time we visited we had been working on moving into our house all day! Went through the drive through and received the message they were closed. There were still 15 minutes left for the store to be open. Went inside and a worker was sitting on the counter by the register, so I asked if they closed early? He jumped off the counter and said no and they took our order. The second time we ordered through the drive through and I requested a breast and a thigh in my 2-piece. I was told they would do their best. I asked again at the window, and they said yes. They gave me two very over done pieces of chicken. The third time we went through the drive through for dinner and my son wanted mashed potatoes with no gravy. I was told that the mashed potatoes were pre-made containers and they could not give him the potatoes without gravy. I asked if they could just scoop some more out and a manager interrupted and said they were out. I didn’t say anything else, but they still had an hour and a half left on their business hours. The service is unacceptable and it’s very unfortunate for those busy nights when we have to meet schedules and this is one of the very few places to choose...

Very disappointed in service. They close early ALL THE TIME or stay open and pretend no one is at the speaker. If it’s within the last hour of close they are “out” of anything they don’t want to cook. Lately it’s hard to get sauce or anything you ask for in addition to basic food. The regular chicken tenders are reliably not fully cooked the last couple tender meals. The last three times in a row I have gotten the wrong sides. The sides I have gotten lately look they have been in the warming drawer too long to eat. There is also a younger female employee who works evenings some and she is not representing this company well, she seems bothered to give any service very short speaking if she speaks to you at all. Also the closing early has been ongoing for months and I have mentioned it to the staff previously, who say the speaker must have been set to close at 6 while the store closes at 7 ???? Riiiight. I love Popeyes and I repeatedly give them the benefit of the doubt , they are one of the few restaurants on base, but seems very poorly...

On Tuesday, I went here for lunch. I ordered a 5pc tenders meal. Service was great and everything but they told me to wait up front because they were making fresh ones I said OK then about three minutes later they come out with my food. I’ll get my food I’ll go back I’ll go back to work and then when I open up my box, I only have three tenders in my box when I paid for five piece tenders meal then on top of that, I wasn’t giving a receipt at all. Then today I show up here at 515 pm to get food for my family because we been out all day. I pull up and ask for three chicken sandwiches and a three piece signature chicken she goes on to say we only have one crispy and the rest of them blackened. I asked her how long would it take for you to make two extra crispy chicken sandwiches? She said well if I do make them by the time it’s done we’ll be closing. Honestly I don’t know why we have a Popeyes when they’re not even open for a full eight hours and can’t get the orders done...
