My partner has been a clovis community patient for 5 months now. So I’m pretty familiar with seeing how the process of ordering food works there… It seems to me, the cooks picks and chooses how they interact to customers in a nicely or different matter. When they should be equal, and consistent to all paying customers. Today was another day I have noticed if you’re well dressed, the interaction you get from the cooks is different from when you are under-dressed in comfy clothing. I’m not saying all of them, but there are some. For example a couple of weeks ago, the pizza guy was asking some people if they wanted ranch when the order was ready. Then when I got my 2 boxes of pizza he just called out my number, and was quick to turn around, so I had to ask him for the ranches. Oh and then on top of that, I was given the wrong pizzas. And I get that there are rush hours, so maybe he needs some backup: the pizza are still the delicious. Anyways, 2 weeks later (today) I ordered 3 ala cart tacos. I can the cook putting the amount of salsa on my tacos, and I can tell after opening my box the tacos were pretty dry. So I asked for one extra salsa, (I’ll pay if I have to) the cook said, “sorry we don’t any to give out” we only have enough for what we put on there for you” …i just ok Thanks. But just horrible was that?. ..You would think for the amount of income a hospital food court can make, they should/could make more sauces/salsa if they needed to. Anyways that’s my experience. I used to enjoy going there but now, I rather not feel like I’m being treated...
Read moreI just want to take a minute to rave about the hospital cafeteria food for a second! Not only is the food + prices amazing, the service is top notch. Everyone is so nice, so sweet. This has been consistent for the past few days.
I'm currently drinking a Peet's Coffee (white mocha latte of happiness). I had one yesterday and had to come back for another today. Solo worker at the counter. Took about 5-6 people's order at once all the while with an amazing, upbeat attitude. I figured the drinks would take a while. That's cool. I'll wait. He's busy and alone. But to my surprise. I got my drink, less than 5 minutes later. So surprised, that I had to double check it was mine. He said, "sure is, have an fantastic day". 👏 This is 👏 customer service 👏 we all strive to have 👏
Shout out to the director of F+B and staff. As someone who comes from the service industry and has worked in luxury hotels/casinos, I commend you. Hopefully I don't have to spend more time here than I have to. However, for the time I do have to be here, I already have my meals planned out. CA burrito & pizza.... I'm...
Read moreThe Grove Cafe inside Clovis Community Hospital on the main level opened this week for both hospital personnel and the public. Went in to get breakfast before an outpatient procedure. The management needs to review the ordering and cashier experience in this cafe. There is a separate grab and go coffee bar and a full order breakfast menu inside. Ordering is done on a kiosk, a number is issued, then you pay at the register, grab your beverage and backtrack to the food counter to wait for the cook to place it on the counter and call your number before walking thru the register area again to get to the food tables! Too confusing! The food is less than fast food menu items, the quality is ok, and the coffee was just meh. The lime flavored water for free in a dispenser was refreshing. Eat here if you must to get you through your day....
