Subway — Restaurant in Coalmont

Rude service. Very rude. They acted like they could care less about us being there or fixing our food. The bell peppers were slimy. Asked for what the "special" was, and all the girl did was turn around, stared at the wall, then mumbled something. Could not understand a word she said. I asked 5 times and still couldn't get a clear an answer. Don't bother, keep driving and get better service and interest in your $ somewhere else. Asked for one of the meats (that came with the sandwich I ordered), to be put in the side. They refused! How cheap and petty can you be!? It is the sandwich meat that comes with the sandwich to begin with. All they had to do was either put it on a napkin or in a sandwich wrapper. We are on a road trip with family and stopped by this Subway and we were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, the quality and taste of the food and the service from the staff.

We ordered a few sandwiches and the staff really took their time to make the sandwich and carefully make all the sandwiches with the toppings we requested. The shop looks new but it’s a few years old.

We did not get a chance to try the drive through but there was ample parking. I liked the subway has its own lot with no shared parking with their stores so very easy to get in and out of the store. We had coupons via the subway app which the store honoured without any questions.

It’s a new building so it has the benefit of being really clean. The pull in is a bit steep, if you have a particularly low car that might be an issue. A few times I’ve gotten my sandwich where everything was just kinda stuffed into the seam, almost like a wrap would be, still taste the same of course but it’s weird having to eat your sandwich like a taco. My main complaint though is that they don’t participate in any of the online deals of you use the app or website, prices are high enough these days and a limited time deal is a nice reprieve from that.
