I hate putting a bad review but this restaurant needs to Definitely improve their quality of food and service. Me and my girls got to restaurant first. We did have a nice few minutes talking with the server. Well we started off with calamari and oysters. They honestly we're pretty good. My son's got there a little while after us and they also ordered calamari and oysters. I'd like to say our server Allen wasn't the friendliest server I've ever had. But I think that was just his personality. Me and my kids are super friendly we like to get to know our servers and we like to treat them with the utmost respect. Because they do have an extremely hard job. We like to think that when we leave the restaurant we've made their day or night a little better. Also we definitely like to have a good time when we go out and he was a little more serious but that was OK with us. We tried loosening him up telling him we were on Vacation. Joking about how my boys would rather hit the buffet (3 teenagers). Because they definitely have big appetites. But they love food quality food also. As I majored in Culinary Arts. So they know what good quality food is. So we ordered our main courses. The lack of taste and quality were so poor it's seriously sad to say. Charging $20, $30 and $40 a plate I expect good food actually I expect great food. Two of my kids got this seafood fettuccine pasta and they said it was OK And they were starving so they shared it around table Some of the other kids ordered the nachos and I wish Allen would have explained more about the nachos for the kids I'm not sure how these even qualify for nachos. Because I did have a special needs daughter with me and the nachos were nothing like me or anybody would have expected. My filet was pretty good but the mashed potatoes were like water. There was no flavor of cream or butter what so ever anything that You would expect from a gourmet mash potatos. I was so disappointed because I'm a big potato person. The vegetables were even worse. The squash which I think it was squash and the califlower had no taste whatsoever Another big shocker for $40 bucks a plate. My friend's son his steak was so so overly dry. He mentions maybe I shouldn't have got it medium then it wouldn't have been so dry. I definitely had to laugh at that. Which I had to explain to him that had nothing to do with his steak being dry. So almost a $300 ticket that is about a normal night out for us was so extremely...

What a pretentious restaurant with premium prices. What a nightmare. We showed up at 9:15 p.m. to celebrate our son's engagement. We were seated immediately and eventually brought bread butter and water. We were not provided utensils. When the waiter finally decided to show up, I asked if we could have "some of them eating sticks" to which he assured us they would be arriving shortly. I informed him it was somewhat difficult to spread butter on bread without utensils and received no response. When my wife asked for hot tea we were informed that they would have to "heat up another pot" and "the device used to heat the water had been disassembled" apparently in anticipation of closing at 10 p.m. He took our drink order and brought my wife hot tea with no spoon. My wife finally ended up getting up and going over to the servers area and getting for place settings. When taking our order we asked the waiter if they had Ranch and he informed us that Anthony's is "Ranch free restaurant," clearly implying only us Hillbillies eat ranch dressing. The service was absolutely Dreadful, although I cannot totally fault the part of the server, because he was literally running to grab drinks and food. We would not see him for 10 minutes or so at a time. We had to ask for refills on drinks or anything that we needed. The only bright spot was the food which was absolutely delicious. We were going to order coffee and dessert but it was obvious that the wait staff was stretched to their maximum. It's really too bad, as it's a nice location with a good atmosphere, and the food that we had was quite good although at a premium price. When We complained to Mike the manager, we received a heartfelt and insincere response to our complaints. Please don't bother responding to this, telling readers How Deeply you care and that you will fix it, it's obvious from the reviews you haven't as there are a number of similar complaints in the recent past. By the way, I have never left a bad review about any eating establishment in my life, you...

A Disheartening Visit to a Once-Reliable Establishment. After five years of consistently exemplary experiences, my recent visit to this establishment marked an unfortunate departure from their typically high standards of service. Having secured a 3:00 PM reservation for one, I arrived precisely at opening time, only to find myself inexplicably overlooked in the reception queue. Despite my punctual arrival and proper reservation, I stood unacknowledged while other patrons who entered after me—some through alternate entrances—were promptly greeted and seated. Particularly telling was when a couple who entered through the patio entrance intercepted my place in line, announced their reservation, and were immediately accommodated without question. The pattern of neglect continued as additional guests arrived and received immediate attention while I remained effectively invisible. Only when I finally spoke up did the staff address my presence, with the presumed manager offering a dismissive excuse about being "busy in front"—a claim that seemed at odds with the actual conditions. Upon finally being seated, the host's perfunctory service continued as he led me to the outdoor seating area at such a brisk pace that he arrived well before I had navigated past the bar. My server, typically a highlight of previous visits, appeared uncharacteristically reserved, possibly influenced by a visible exchange with the host that seemed to color her interaction with me. While the establishment has earned considerable goodwill through years of exceptional service, this visit revealed concerning lapses in attentiveness and courtesy. The contrast between my previous experiences and this recent visit was stark enough to be noteworthy, though not yet sufficient to permanently alter my patronage. I remain hopeful that this represents an anomaly rather than a new direction for a restaurant that has, until now, consistently...

I had the pleasure of eating at Anthony's during a visit to the area. After a long day of driving around Pend Oreille and visiting the Kootenai Falls, I was famished. It was a busy Saturday night when I rolled into Anthony's. The girls at the front offered me a table bu myself, but I decided to sit by the open kitchen area. This was a great decision as I was taken care of by multiple staff members. One member of the Kitchen team was very cool and funny and just happened to be making scallops when I sat down. Chef Amy helped me decide on my appetizer, the Alaska Weathervane Scallops. This dish is made with Wild Gulf of Alaska scallops pan-seared and finished with bacon jam. Chef Amy made the scallops right in front of me while I witnessed her super scallop making skills. For my main, Amy recommended the delightful Roasted Scampi Prawns, which are large ocean prawns butterflied, roasted with garlic butter, lemon and sprinkled with gremolata and served with seasonal vegetable and almond basmati rice pilaf. Yes, it was as good as it sounded and enjoyed every bite. Everything on the visit was awesome from the fresh bread and great advice on how to cook scallops, the wine and the Scampi prawns. I found the staff who saw that I was eating alone were great entertainers and great people to talk to. Anthonys excelled on all fronts.

Very nice restaurant. We have been to Anthony's before but not this one. We always go next door to bardenay so we wanted to try it. Very nice location on the little lake in Riverstone. I love the peacefulness of the patio seating. Very nice ambiance and decor. We were not too impressed with the calamari as it was not cooked quite right, some of the breaking was soft. But the seasonal berry salad and the clam chowder were awesome. We were feeling really good about it and then we sat for probably 30+ minutes before we got our food. We got the special rockfish with rice pilaf. The rockfish was super good and cooked nicely. The rice pilaf was a tad overcooked. The halibut fish and chips awesome. The fries had a very tasty seasoning and cooked well. The halibut was awesome. It came with a ginger salad type coleslaw that was unique. They have non-alcoholic beer which I like because we don't drink. The vibe was super peaceful outside watching the fountain, so it was hard to be stressed about the wait. Not sure if we were supposed to get bread, but we didn't and I hope to try it next time. We will be back for sure.

This review will be the Good, the bad and the ugly. We did not have a reservation but came in at 3pm and there many empty tables. We were told we can’t seat you, but only but outside which was too cold to sit outside or at the bar and that was even colder. We did get two seats at the kitchen table. The food was very good, but extremely expensive, but that is the sign of the times. Good wine, great steak! and the fish could have used a nice char on it. This is where the ugly comes in… the guy that cooks the pasta used tongs to mix it up in the frying pans and then hung the tongs on the oven doors full of food. The chief that takes the order for the fish and steaks cut a steak on the counter where plates get filled. The same blue rag to clean up the blood juices was used other times to clean up the counter. The cross contamination is unreal. So if someone had a fish allergy the same tongs are used for all pasta dishes. The young man who stuffed plastic bags of pasta was over handling the pasta and it was dropping all over the place on the counter. the prep work that day was behind the service time.
