I wanted to really love this place based on the reviews, and I’m not inclined to leave reviews with less than four stars, but I have to say - the food I had was absolutely terrible.
I asked if there was some kind of breakfast sandwich and I was told that they could offer one with an English muffin, sausage, egg, and cheese. Sounds great to me! When I sat down, I noticed the barista was spending a lot of time at the microwave and I realized that my sandwich was being microwaved. I thought “let me give it a try, maybe it’ll be ok.” No. It wasn’t. Everything about that sandwich was bad - the bread was soggy, the egg and sausage tasted and felt like rubber. But I was so hungry that I just ate it.
I also watched the barista heat up a breakfast burrito in the microwave and realized that’s truly all they have to heat up food with.
To the owner, a microwave is never a sound option to “cook” anything in as a restaurant, cafe, etc. Truly, McDonald’s is a better option for breakfast, and I don’t mean that to be insulting because McD’s has a solid breakfast. If an oven of some kind is not an option, maybe focus on what you can do really well! The pastries looked great and the coffee was good but it was so overshadowed by that...
Read moreSitting here on a Friday afternoon at 1:45 pm, enjoying an egg, sausage, and cheese breakfast sandwich on a works bagel with a 16 oz. drip coffee and life is good! The place is quiet (only 4 other people here) and the service is super nice and friendly. Lots of seating options, including near a mini electric fireplace.
I'm addition to coffee, tea, and food, they serve soft drinks, beer, and wine. The latter two are liquid courage for their Karaoke Nights on Sundays from 3-7 pm. They are also hosting a Craft Fair on June 4 from 8 am - 2 pm. Wifi is free, and their restrooms are clean and nice.
It's located in a residential neighborhood, so most traffic is just passing by, which makes it a quaint "secret" getaway from your high volume locations.
Overall, a great place to visit if you're not up for meeting new people and want a quiet place to...
Read moreIn the summer, me and my friends went here on one very hot day. When we get here, we look at the menu and there was so much delicious sounding options!!! We ordered strawberry boba with raspberry popping pearls and order two pretzels and one sour cream sweetbread loaf. They were so good!! And the barista was super sweet even though she was definitely stressed with all the people there. So I really appreciate that!!! Some people can be very mean even when they aren't stressed. So the fact that she was nice plays a big part in a big review. I recommend this place to anyone who want to have a coffee date in one of the most aesthetic coffee shops ever!!! 11/10 definitely pintrest...
