Went last night at around 7:00 with some friends to get some peach iced teas. Normally I don’t really go to Dutch bros at all but their tea is pretty good. We got there and there was already a line forming but we decided to wait it out. There were 5 of us. We started watching videos to make the time fly until our turn to order came. We look from our phones and almost 20 mins goes by. We began to wonder what the customer in front is us was waiting on. And since the four of us work in customer service, we started to wonder what was taking so long and why this poor customer wasn’t getting their order delivered to them on time. We wait more. We then realized half an hour has gone by. Something is not right. We then looked again to see that the Dutch bros workers and the customer are just chit chatting. We get annoyed but decide to give them the benefit of the doubt at first because for me personally it’s fun to see a regular or a friend come to your work. But let me tell you, that was a huge mistake. Because then right before our eyes and mind you the customers behind us saw it and started showing their annoyance right along with us. But the Employees and customer begin taking pictures and Tik Tok videos!!! It’s been almost 40 min. Now we don’t feel sorry for anyone at all. There is no reason we should have waited 40 min in line for this…at all!!!!! At all! My friend became furious so when our turn came we just didn’t bother at all. If Dutch bros employees can’t take care of their customers who are waiting in the line who’s to say they will take care of us when it’s actually our turn and deliver our drinks to us on time. Our trust in Dutch bros has terminated. We ended up going to Starbucks. Never again will we go to this dutch bros. Also another thing I want to add is a lot of the hate I get from these Dutch bros employees because I work at Starbucks but yet I choose to come to Dutch bros once in a blue moon to buy THEIR tea. It’s very unprofessional and hurtful. It makes me not want to come back at all but I still do because sometimes some employees are nice to me and just see me as another human being. I get a lot of customers who come to Starbucks who go to both Dutch and even McDonald’s coffee and there is no beef at all! Dutch bros and Starbucks are not even competitors. If Dutch can emphasize good customer service a lot more I think it would flourish! I looked thoroughly through a lot of these reviews and it’s sad to say but a lot of them are not good and have a lot to do with the employees bad customer service. I really do hope Dutch bros makes some changes because this is not right and this is not how customers who buy your products and beverages should...
Read moreMy husband and I were here a week ago Monday after 2pm, the girl that served us was very rude. I asked for a cappuccino she said wet, dry? I told her 70% wet 30% dry. She said you want a half and half. I said no I want 70% wet and 30% dry. She immediately rolled her eyes with her extremely long fake lashes and walked off. I wanted to chew her out! I had asked her for sugarfree vanilla but when we left I took a drink and there was ZERO vanilla. It tasted horrible so I dumped it out and went to another coffee stand.
This girl's attitude really sucked. My husband asked if they could make a certain coffee like Starbucks did. This girl immediately copped an attitude and said "no! We cant make starbucks coffee" then said" yuck! I HATE starbucks" well I'm glad she could express her hatred but I didn't care how she felt. My husband had asked someone in the coffee sales if they could make something similar. She either needed some food because she was hungry or she needs to quit. She talked so fast I asked her to slow down and then she just shut me down after that.
We didn't tip.
I've always love dutch bros but after this last visit we will NEVER come back to this...
Read more18 minute drive through wait with only 3 cars ahead of me. 6 bucks for a lukewarm coffee I ordered hot. Ghetto music blaring from the prep area I had to suffer while I waited for the used car salesman in the window to shmooze every one in line ahead of me as if he was building relationships for life versus serving coffee. At 9am, most of us just need our java, "bro". And I'm a 50 year old man in business attire driving a Buick sedan. Do you really think I want to be addressed as "bro" by some kid? If they were fast on the service and got the order right and charged what a 20 oz coffee is worth, sure, call me "homeboy" if you want. But, make me wait because your service stinks, serve tepid coffee for 6 bucks a cup and then make me listen to Rap and a shmarmy sales pitch when I finally get to the window? No, you don't get to call me "bro", and you won't see me in your crawl through line again either. 1st and last visit. Could not have been more...
