2 things that bothered me. It took me the same amount of time to order my food as it took me to eat my food. I was sitting at the bar right in front of 3 employees who were talking to 2 men, 1 of which seemed to also work at the bar. Their "team meeting" apparently was quite engrossing. The food. Italian sausage ravioli is what i order. I asked if it was a full sausage or what, i was told it was chucks of the sausage in the sauce. I inquired about the size and the amount, and was just told it was in the sauce in varying sizes. Food came out... there were 3 chucks. 3 chucks that wouldnt even add up to a single slice of an actual sausage. The ravioli is self is wasnt terrible, if the menu just said 4 cheese ravioli im sure ppl would be satisfied with the taste. But gotta jack that price up to 16$ so need to throw in the word sausage so we can charge for meat cost. Last little note would be the sauce was not plentiful. It came with 3 cold, but fresh pieces of bread, but not enough sauce to dip. Italian dish.. nothing to dip in..
At the end i was asked how it was, to which i replied 'good, but you should remove sausage from the description. There were only a few small chunks.' He asked what i would like as 'i seemed bothered', which i was obviously, why would i write this otherwise. But im not sure what he expected me to say.. discount my meal? give me free ice cream? I think a sign of good costumer service is to solve things for customers without asking the costumer what the solution is. Im not trying to make a scene, im not going to sit at the bar and complain. Be gracious enough to offer a solution to me, as i was gracious enough to voice my annoyance briefly and quietly. In the end, i just said it had been a long day, when in reality my experience there was just...
Read moreMy party of three stopped in for lunch. Both the Chicken Caesar Wrap & Chicken Caesar Salad were tasty as always. The gentleman in our group ordered the Sun-dried Tomato Ravioli & when it arrived it was tasty, as always, but due to a mix up the first dish that arrived was one of the daily specials, a creamy sausage ravioli. It was tasty & when the server came to check on it, she quickly ordered the correct replacement & it was delivered in a timely manner! She also boxed up the mistake & sent it home with him at no cost. Despite the error, she was friendly & helpful & we would have been pleased without the free take home bonus My only disappointment is that my side of corn pasta which is my fav there, & at their other outlets, lacked corn & a bit of flavor. In Moon Time's defense, I ordered it a week ago at The Elk in Spokane & their version was even more bland, although both pastas were cooked to a lovely al dente texture. The Elk version had a bit more corn, while Moon Time's had a bit more spice, but neither was as finely spiced as I remembered & I just love that pasta! The good news is that it traveled well & was quite tasty after some additions at home. Do stop in if...
Read moreThe service was horrible. The girl with green hair was super rude and had an attitude the whole time. She made unnecessary comments and jabs at us the entire meal. From the minute we walked in, we had a party of six, she said “I only have two hands” in an annoyed voice as if it was a problem we had that many people. We stayed friendly and smiley and said it’s no problem if there’s a wait. She went to set up the table right in front of the door and said to us, “just come on and sit if you are just going to stare at me.” We were bewildered, we hadn’t said anything to her abt the wait. Quietly waiting by the door. Anyways, the whole meal she continued to make jabs towards us and had an attitude like we were an inconvenience to her.
However, the food was pretty good. Your average burger, it was tasty. The lamb burger in specific would be the biggest reason to come back to this...
