Zero flavor- Soggy crust- Not even 2 pieces of pepperoni on each slice of pizza- Comparing this pizza to Little Cesars would be an insult to Little Cesars. It’s a pizza that looks like Dominos and tastes like watered down diet lasagna. “Marinara” tasted like canned, crushed tomato purée with no seasoning.. The kids who worked there were very nice. Not their fault the management is only concerned with their food cost. If they want to survive- They need to hire a consultant. Give people what they want and charge for it. Little Cesars is somehow making money selling a $6 pizza that blows this pizza out of the water. (While giving twice the toppings) This is intended to be constructive. I’d love to see some corrections to give us another pizza option in town. There’s always room for a good pizza place.

Ordered a med. "hawaiian" + red onion at 4:50 yesterday. A young lady stated it would be ready in 15 min. I arrived at 5:05 and she went to retrieve from the oven. Thanks for accurate estimation - piping hot, yay! Got home and the pizza looked sparce of all three toppings. At first I thought they forgot the onions all together. After closer inspection saw there were some but only very few, (sad face). On the positive, the thin crust was thin, nicely baked with a nice chew and the red sauce was delicious - savory with a hint of sweetness! I suspect the young staff on hand just needs quality control re-training. Hoping for a better result next time as we live around the corner and are hopeful this can be our go-to for take out pizza!

Cd'A is enigmatic to me for pizza. They love their wood fired pizza; which to me is code for: small, expensive, and trendy. I know these guys, and have been to both their other locations. It's utility pie, and very consistent in quality and quantity. Our dinner focus was on a specialty salad we got from a food truck nearby, so this pizza/wing offering was more side dish to the greens. In that regard, they were a welcomed bite. Their formula for a solid pie makes me think we will be seeing even more River City Pizzas in our extended metro area. Staffed by teenagers, and I thank them for having din-din ready when they said it would be...

Tried to order the pizzas online at 5pm said delivery time was 5:52pm. Website wouldn't accept my debit card, called the store gave them my card info (while it sounded like screaming kids in a daycare or a home setting, the phone wasn't answered "thank you for calling river city pizza", just "hello")and was told delivery would be 30-45 minutes. Ok, by 6:15pm no pizza, called the store back and was told online delivery times are way off and it would be like 1hr and 30 minutes... which is totally unacceptable for pizza folks. She then informed me my pizza was in the oven. Pizza finally got to us 1hr and 45mins later. Was less than impressed... ordered the 3x pepperoni pizza, which had less pepperoni than a freezer pizza from Walmart and so much cheese it was super greasy making the crust soggy. The mac n cheese pizza was pretty good, but personally I would've used smaller noodles and not spiral ones, and put more macaroni on, but that's just me. The Cuban was also pretty good, but a bit heavy on the pickles. Maybe instead of chunks try like a relish? For the price of the pizza, and the wait time for a pizza place literally 2 miles from my house, honestly I don't feel we'll be trying them again. Sounds like multiple people are having service related issues with them, so we will see how long they can make it.

Here's an update, looking at my receipt, my order total was $60.27, looking at my bank statement it says I was charged $62.89, which is incorrect on their part, and even though not a huge difference, they need to be charging their customers correctly. I will be disputing the amount...

Update: in the spirit of not cooking for mother's day, we decided to try again with the credit received from my last order. The girl who took my order, and the one who delivered it were both delightful. I was quoted delivery for about 45 mins and it was here way before that. All of the food was correct, and hot. The only thing they forgot was my ranch and marinara sauce, but not a huge deal. Overall they made up for the first visit and I'll definitely be back!

If you call in an order for pick up, make sure it's not for the future, because apparently they have issues with those. I called at 4pm to place an order for pickup at 5:30. About 40 mins later I called to add breadsticks and they couldn't find the order. After a while they discovered there was a separate "future orders" section. So they added the breadsticks and asked if I wanted ranch or marinara...I said both. Well, I only got cold marinara. I asked for the pizza to only be half mushroom and they didn't put any on at all. It also wasn't until I got home that I noticed the label on my breadstick bag had another customers name, so hopefully that person got their breadsticks! They also couldn't process my debit card over the phone...apparently they have that problem often. The pizza was okay and the staff was nice but I don't know if we'll go back until they have everyone trained better and all the bugs worked out! Also, nobody was wearing masks and a few workers had hats, but those who didn't weren't wearing a hairnet or...

I used to really like river city. Recently I had two horrible experiences. One I walked in and the place was absolutely filthy, the pizza prep station had food and cheese all over the prep area along with the floor and the service counter. I took photos and sent them to what I suspect is the owner. I received a response that these issues are unacceptable and they will be addressed. Recently I placed an online order, order came back and said it will be available to be picked up in 45 mins. I go in 45 mins later and they claim that the ticket machine is giving them problems and it’s going to be another 30 mins. I wait come back in 30 mins later and they apologized again and said it’s going to be another 30 mins. I asked for a refund and the guy got his manager on the phone and they told me a refund has been issued. This was a month ago, I check my statement a month later and no refund. I email what I suspect the owner again kindly asking for my money refunded not only because of the situation but also I never received any product and two weeks later no refund and no response. This might have been a good establishment at one time but I would stay away from this place at all costs. Not only do you risk your health but guess what they steal your...
