Stella's On The Hill — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

I would love to give Stella's a 5 star review but after my experience when we went I dont know that I can. I'm only giving it the 1 star because it won't let me post review with no stars. The absolutely only good thing I can say is the beautiful view. I had heard lots of good things and was excited to go and see Fleetwood Max and experience some good food. Me, my wife and our best friends went out there for the show. The view is incredible and the venue is beautiful! It was very busy so we were patient waiting for our food. My friend ordered and I ordered right after him. There was an issue with my card, it had expired and I was unaware however within minutes of ordering my buddy told the guy taking orders to put my order with his and the guy said yes. There were multiple servers working hard and only one guy taking orders and you could tell he was over welmed. After a long wait our friends received their meals and we did not. we continued to watch as deliveries were being done and never received ours. I asked multiple servers about our meal and never received an answer. I asked one server to check on my order and he never even came back with an answer for me. Finally as the band is playing their last song I go back up to where the food truck is and ask again. The guy who was taking the order finally realizes that he never put my order in. Says sorry, acknowledges that we did come back up there but he still forgot and asks if I want him to put the order in now. My friends have been finished with their meals for a while and the music is done! What good is it to start the meal now? So when my friend goes up to pay his bill the guy again apologizes but at this point what good does that do me? He should have at least comped my friends meal to make up for my loss! We then had to drive down into town to sit down at another place and order our dinner and eat after 8:00 at night! So needless to say not a real enjoyable night! Not sure if I will ever go back or recommend to any family...

Had my wedding here and it was beautiful! Absolutely breathtaking! The service was great and very prompt. All of my guests had a great time! The pasta was delicious ! They did not serve one of the 3 pasta options some of my gusts requested. The DJ supplied by the venue also did not play most of the songs guests requested. A lot of my guests asked where their song was. There's also no shade in the evenings. There was a lack of good alcohol options and lack of communication from the event coordinator. They limit it to the alcohol they have but the selection is not great. All the wine tasted cheap and there was not a sweet wine option. Many of my guests complained about the lack of good choices for alcohol. The venue was not great about communicating anything. I had no idea we had a ready room until 1 month before when my planner asked about it. Nor did I know we should go through a specific vendor for tents or other supplies they had for additional costs. So if you do have a wedding here, then get a planner that knows what...

Wow! What an unbelievable experience. We knew going in that the views were awesome, so we gave it a try for trivia night.

I have to say this was an awesome experience and the food was incredible. We got a variety of items on the menu and they were all excellent. I was torn between the tacos (with homemade tortillas) and the seared ahi as my favorite, but it was all excellent.

In regard the the service, all restaurants are understaffed at this time and most reasonable people realize that. Even with staffing shortages, I never felt like I was looking for a server to get another drink.

I read some of the reviews regarding “bad service” but our experience was nothing but fantastic. Don’t let the “Karen’s” of the world and their reviews deter you from enjoying this experience.
