I wanted to bring to your attention a very disappointing experience my family and I had at your location. There was a young blonde girl workingâunfortunately, I didnât catch her nameâwhose behavior was shockingly unprofessional and upsetting. We had originally gone through the drive-thru and informed her that one of the people we were ordering for is vegan. We specifically requested avocado toast prepared to meet vegan standards. Instead of responding respectfully, she began laughing and said things like, âWhat do you even mean?â and âLike, can I put cream cheese on it?â Every question or request we made was met with laughter and sarcasm. The situation became so frustrating that I exited the drive-thru line and went inside, leaving my family to continue ordering. Inside, I found the same employee twirling a broomstick around and then immediately handling foodâwithout glovesâright after, while continuing to mock our order and laugh at my family through the window. At that point, I let her know that we had just lost our father this past weekend, and that her behavior was unnecessary. Rather than responding with empathy or even basic courtesy, she snapped, âI didnât do anything,â and continued to act rudely. She even glared at my mother through the drive-thru window afterward. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful, itâs entirely unprofessional. I sincerely believe it would be a disservice to your business to allow someone like that to continue...
Read moreI am 5 days post-op with a knee replacement surgery. I know this is going to sound kind of crazy but go with me here for a second:-) so this is my 15th surgery I have a rare brain disease, causes calcium to growth in my brain and throughout my body. With every surgery I end up gaining 10 to 15 lb and then always have to work it off afterwards. Last year I had to have spinal fusion which was the worst surgery ever and I went on a crumble cookie diet! Bad bad decision I ended up gaining 50 lbs. So the last two surgeries I have gone on a crunchy monkey acia bowl diet from the wellness bar and it is like heaven. It is just the best comfort food plus it has all the anti-inflammatory great stuff in it and bonus I have not gained any weight with either surgery:-) anytime my kids come to visit me or any of my friends they know they do not show up at my house without a crunchy monkey! I have tried other places up here that serve acia bowls and they are icy and weird. Thank you Wellness bar for getting me through these...
Read moreSuper happy with the service and each location has a fun yet still somehow calming and cozy atmosphere. Mainly, the salads are almost never decent when I get them from the little refrigerated section. I got one yesterday and it reminded how hit or miss they can be. Iâve also had the quinoa cups and a few times theyâve been rank and old. Another issue is that different locations seem to have different capabilities, for example the one at CDA downtown inexplicably cannot make juice, so they have to rely on shipments coming in from their âcorporate locationâ⌠well that seems like a shaky foundation to be building a house on. Three times Iâve visited the location and theyâve not had the juice I intended to drink and there was nothing which could be done about it.
All in all, I would avoid the refrigerated food items and try to get everything as fresh as possible. That way it doesnât feel so much like youâve overpaid for a container of lettuce...
