Wine House — Restaurant in Coeur d'Alene

Mainly cause its so cute! So the sav blanc ans rose were our favs... we just wanted to feel normal again and eat outside in this wonderful northwest air... the place is so cute with flowers and good seating, along with a great server who made wonderful suggestions perhaps based on our chill energy..

Loved that it was mostly fun ladies enjoying themselves looking for a place to be able to hear each other, at a olace not in the hoopla on sherman... we lived it so much we out in an offer on a place 1 mile away... talk about access!! We can bike there now...

So the food: not a big heavy eatery... no fry guy on staff... this is a olace for people who want to keep it light bright and airy... had the cheese board.. ate it all!!!! Had a Flatbread or two... and a few glasses of vino...

The ladies there bust a hustle and make the Flatbreads, hussle the drinks, and make it look easy... I loved that the foods were light. I loved that our server (she's a nurse by day) was on our needs like a shadow, selected some great wines and samples for us, and let us soak in a great experience...

My kind a place! Price, not cheap, but then...

I’ve been thinking long & hard about how I wanted to phrase my review of Wine House. I visited Wine House a few weeks ago with my best friend & we were sitting at the bar simply having a conversation about our similar upbringings when a very unruly & presumptuous man inserted himself & his opinions into the conversation, ultimately telling both of us to go back to where we came from because we weren’t wanted in North Idaho. Occasionally, these things happen at bars & restaurants but the fact that it wasn’t dealt with & this man was allowed to misbehave & swear at us & treat us with disrespect all because he was a regular patron is precisely why I will never be returning to Wine House. I’m greatly disappointed with how horribly the situation was handled. Not saying it’s possible to avoid disrespectful behavior at all wine bars but places like LiveForBlu or Vine & Olive or Studio 107 are typically much better environments to spend your time & money at if you’re visiting or...

Stopped by to check it before going to dinner on date night. Absolutely loved the porch area outside. Loved the modern beautiful decor inside. Cute and very charming. We enjoy wine but aren’t wine connoisseurs by any means. We described what we like, she suggested two different wine’s that were perfect matches for us! Great service, no judgement, no snotty wine attitude, just fun friendly service and wine... great place to come enjoy some wine, fresh air and the wonderful Coeur D’Alene lifestyle we all come to enjoy. Come out and see them!! And they will be serving small plates soon! Can’t wait...
