I don’t normally leave reviews, and definitely not bad ones, but the last three times I have been here my sandwich has been made incorrectly. It is always rung up correctly, but never made correctly. Three times now I have paid for an extra slice of cheese only for it to not be there, and the last three times I have specifically asked for (and was rung up for) American cheese instead of cheddar. At least they actually cut my sandwich in half this time like I asked, the last two times they didn’t.
I drive a lot, and my job often requires that I grab a meal and resume my duties. I don’t have time to piddle back and forth with people, saying, “Oh, this was made wrong,” and then wait another 10 minutes. Most other people, I’d wager, don’t have time for that either.
One of the reasons I don’t like leaving reviews is because I have worked all manner of food service jobs since I was a teenager, so I know firsthand how it can be. The first rule, besides washing your hands and putting on gloves (and apron, if applicable), is to READ the order screen....
Read moreYesterday I went through the drive through as I do often before going to work. The young man working the window rushed us to order and did not repeat our order. Once we got to the window he didnt even offer a receipt and handed us all but my boyfriends drink. He closed the window and walked away. I went in to speak with the manager. She had no concern and blamed me saying we drove away before he could give us the drink. Mind you, we sat a minute before pulling around and as I said, he had walked away.
We made the mistake of giving them a second chance today. Our order was not repeated back, I had to demand my receipt yet again and my order was wrong. On top of this, they had a young child behind the counter by the cooking area playing. To say the least, I did not bother trying to complain to the "manager" again. I will not be going back, and I highly recommend avoiding...
Read moreI was in the Colchester porters point location and just wanted to inform you that I received terrible customer service and was within earshot of some very inapprpriate conversation with my 4 and 6 year olds. The workers name was Donna and my kids had multiple questions after we left, one was asking what the N word meant. I do not complain about establishments often but this was very unprofessional and ignorant for someone to be saying at work especially in front of children. The story that was being told by her was by far more of a priority over making my coffee and getting my kids' food. No apology was given or anything for the service or the multiple vulgar words used. I will not return to that location specifically. I stop by this location often so I will be finding another place to stop on my way to work. I just thought it would be worth letting...
