A+ Donuts — Restaurant in Coldspring

I gotta take a minute to brag on our small town donut shop! First of all, I have never had a bad experience here. They are the sweetest people 😊. Last Friday when we came, we were standing in line waiting to order and another family came in. The lady behind the counter told the mom to make sure and grab a juice because the last time they came in they paid for it and one of the kids accidentally left it. She said it was like a month or so ago but she wanted to make sure she got it. She definitely didn’t have to do that and the lady didn’t even remember it. That’s just pure wholesome honesty. Fast forward to today, when we came into the donut shop it wasn’t raining but by the time we waited in line and ordered it was pouring!! The man behind the counter asked me where we parked and I showed him and he just said “hang on” and went to the back. We waited like he asked and he came running back up to the front with an umbrella. He said “come on” and walked my daughter and I to my car while he held the umbrella over us!! I absolutely love this place and the people that work here! I highly recommend the donuts and the employees!!...

This was my first time visiting today. Google maps- Open at 430am... I got there about 445am, lights on, people inside, there were Kolaches and croissants, I could see as I walked up, door was locked, and no donuts yet...? On a Friday? Ok, it's my 1st time here, allow for an off day....I'll wait for a few.. So, I sat in the car... 515-520am... 1 rack of cake donuts, but nothing else, and she politely stated, "the raised will be another 30 minutes or so...". I'm only giving the rating I did for what I witnessed. If you look at my reviews and such, I'm very fair and do give reviews accordingly. I've read a bunch of other people's....seems like this spot has a solid customer following. I know sometimes, there's just an off day... I have them myself. Until next time, A+ donuts... I still look forward to "trying your donuts for the 1st time"... I did get 1 small jalapeno kolache and 1 small plain kolache. They were a great morning snack to get going. No photos or video till next time💯....

I go here often. Both the Shepherd and Coldspring locations are consistently good. Staff are friendly and are respectful of your time. I appreciate their involvement in the community and the small family owned business humbleness of A plus. The Coldspring location gives the high school kids a little something extra when they stop in before school. My son and coworker love their kolaches. Grandkids love their donuts. Both locations could use a deep clean, organization of supplies (a place to store extra beverages etc. So they are not stacked on the floor), and some...
