Great Breakfast Fare. Had the need for an omelet and Jukebox Cafe was a place that had not been tested. There is a lot of parking, if you look, but at first glance it can look full. A pretty varied menu for all day breakfast and lunch. I elected for an omelet with perogies and was happy with the home made taste of the perogies and the crispy edges. The omelets were large and tasted good. Fluffy eggs with sausage, peppers, onions and cheese. I had the farmers that had chipped beef on top and a mild sausage. Home fries and the toast. My friend had the Polish with a zesty kialbasa and plentiful cheese. The toast had seads but I enjoyed the bread as well. Very good bottomless coffee (partook of the pumpkin which was very nice) and the staff seemed compitent and on the ball. Family friendly and lunch looked as tasty as the breakfast. Would have been a five but my side of bacon was forgotten, although points for not being charged. Good experience and I would recommend the establishment. Would go back to try a second plate!

Two weeks ago I raved about this place as our families go to restaurant. Today they seemed overwhelmed, which we all understand, however, the treatment by our waitress, cold food, slow delivery of food ( approx. 35 min), all contributed to a poor experience for me and my granddaughter. Clearly, the stress was showing through our waitress, but to never check on us, delay to take our order, and then argue about her mistake was inappropriate on so many levels. The initial request was for a menu item was met with a short answer of not available. The experience never recovered. I still love the idea of a little community spot to enjoy, but today it wasn't the spot of two weeks ago. Two of the booths near us were complaining of her rude attitude too and commented, the restaurant has changed! Not sure if I will try again. Please bring back the service and quality we all love.

This is one of the absolute best breakfast/brunch/lunch spots in Berks County! Family owned and operated, The Jukebox has a wide range of different foods for a family gathering, brunch with a friend or even a quick breakfast at the counter. Ample seating is available, both booths and tables. There are places to sit outside in case there is a bit of a wait, which happens quite often on the weekends. They open bright and early at 6am and close at 2pm so you're on your own for dinner! This is a throwback to the 50's diner, complete with a working jukebox (hence, the name ;) vinyl records on the walls, as well as pics of infamous people, like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you need a bit of a warm-up, they make and sell their own delicious soups. Speaking of warm things, they have coffee, teas and even cappuccino and lattes. For breakfast, I highly recommend their Eggs Benedict, especially their Southern version, as it is made with cornbread and a thick slice of juicy ham. It also, like many of the dishes, comes with your choice of home fries or hash browns and your choice of wheat, white, or sourdough toast. Their pumpkin pancakes and pumpkin French toast are to die for! Their plain and blueberry pancakes are delicious too. They have many different kinds of omelettes and if you don't see something that strikes your fancy, you can custom order one, like I did! (Spinach and Feta) My husband likes the African Queen Salad. He enjoys the lunch menu but I love that they serve breakfast all day! If your're in the mood for something sweet, you're in great luck...They have scrumptious pies, including lemon meringue and coconut custard, cakes and muffins, depending on what the chef decided to make that day. They also have milkshakes and smoothies! Also, they get there produce directly from The Frecon Orchard, just a stone's throw away from the diner! Whatever you're in the mood for, the Jukebox Diner is sure to...

Seriously? I hope people are reading the RECENT reviews and not just the average over the years or what Google has deemed to be most relevant. This place has go so far downhill I want to cry. I USED to love it, it’s been a family favorite for the 23 years we’ve lived in the area. But now, like so many people have said recently, the food is coming out cold or barely warm after a long wait. The long wait- fault of the kitchen, the cold food- fault of the waitstaff. The coffee has ALWAYS been weak, like drinking brown water, but the food used to make up for it. Not any more. Warning save your money! Forget about thinking this is a rare problem, it’s happened to us 3 times in 2 weeks. Good old days are gone. Food isn’t only not hot and fresh, also not yummy like it used to be. Sausages used to be hot and burst with juiciness when you bite into them. Now they’re dry and cold. The veggie Benny I’ve been ordering for 20+ years has a funny taste now. I can tell the cook isn’t draining the chopped garlic from the jar well, and it makes the English muffin soggy and the whole dish has a kind of sour taste. The avocado on the California Benny was unripe and inedible in several spots although the exterior was brown. The “poached” eggs that are supposed to be on a Benedict were solid in the center like a warm hard boiled egg, not liquid like they’re supposed to be. All around very low...

Stopped in for breakfast after reading the good reviews. There were many other restaurants in the area but the reviews seemed good so decided to give it a try. Small place but they have a decent amount of tables and counter seating as well. Comfortable seating and tables and the vibe is jukebox with decor to match. Service seemed friendly and there are many choices on the menu. Went with coffee and a veggie omelet and a sausage breakfast burrito. I should have known it wasn't going to be very good after the coffee arrived. It was weak and tasted like water. No flavor. I let that go but when the food arrived the sausage egg burrito had tomato sauce in it. Not salsa as it should and the veggie omelet was just ok but nothing special at all. All the food needed improvements. I was expecting a higher quality meal with more attention to detail but was disappointed. It is rare that diner food isn't good because most are decent and have decent coffee except for this place. Maybe they need to trim down a little on their menu and instead of offering so much at a lower quality , offer a little less at a higher standard of quality . In my opinion not worth a return visit. Did not...
