This is one of the absolute best breakfast/brunch/lunch spots in Berks County! Family owned and operated, The Jukebox has a wide range of different foods for a family gathering, brunch with a friend or even a quick breakfast at the counter. Ample seating is available, both booths and tables. There are places to sit outside in case there is a bit of a wait, which happens quite often on the weekends. They open bright and early at 6am and close at 2pm so you're on your own for dinner! This is a throwback to the 50's diner, complete with a working jukebox (hence, the name ;) vinyl records on the walls, as well as pics of infamous people, like Marilyn Monroe and Elvis. All of the staff is friendly and welcoming. If you need a bit of a warm-up, they make and sell their own delicious soups. Speaking of warm things, they have coffee, teas and even cappuccino and lattes. For breakfast, I highly recommend their Eggs Benedict, especially their Southern version, as it is made with cornbread and a thick slice of juicy ham. It also, like many of the dishes, comes with your choice of home fries or hash browns and your choice of wheat, white, or sourdough toast. Their pumpkin pancakes and pumpkin French toast are to die for! Their plain and blueberry pancakes are delicious too. They have many different kinds of omelettes and if you don't see something that strikes your fancy, you can custom order one, like I did! (Spinach and Feta) My husband likes the African Queen Salad. He enjoys the lunch menu but I love that they serve breakfast all day! If your're in the mood for something sweet, you're in great luck...They have scrumptious pies, including lemon meringue and coconut custard, cakes and muffins, depending on what the chef decided to make that day. They also have milkshakes and smoothies! Also, they get there produce directly from The Frecon Orchard, just a stone's throw away from the diner! Whatever you're in the mood for, the Jukebox Diner is sure to hit the spot!
