I've reviewed over 500 restaurants on Google and rarely give out 2 star reviews.. Sadly Subway in Colfax gets 2 stars. I made an online order here for $30, and when I showed up I was informed their toaster oven was broken and that they can't toast any sandwiches. The employee said "they were going to call me, but they were kinda busy" and he was outside shoveling snow so he thought the other employee had called me when they didn't. (THEY WERE NOT BUSY BY THE WAY) SO Instead of calling the customer (me) to let me change my order or to let me know that they can't toast sandwiches, they made the sandwiches anyways "Untoasted" A subway sandwich is drastically different when it's toasted, compared to not. They are required to call customers in this situation but they didn't care and they didn't want to. Not only that, but I told the employee I wanted money off my order or a coupon for the next time I come in because of this mess up. He called the manager (DELTA) and she said NO to taking money off my order and NO to any sort of coupon for next time!! All they did was write down my name and say that the next time I'm in they'll "try" a coupon. This is not my first time experiencing this type of terrible service here! This Subway is poorly managed, has employees who don't care about their local customers and they don't care it seems. I'm never going to this subway again and I suggest you...
Read moreI appreciate the sandwich assemblers astute and attentive nature. Service jobs of any kind are difficult, but subway is particularly fast paced and potentially stressful taking orders from difficult customers. Important that we respect the kids showing up to work and assembling our spicy italians.
We don't like to think about the inequitable nature of our token economy, the nature of work, those whom are forced into roles because of their socioeconomic status or class.
We must be concerned with the wellbeing of every individual, generations to come, not blindly populate communities without careful consideration of their quality of life. Reaching for higher potentials, moral values, ethical systems.
Perhaps furthering automation will allow us to carefully consider how we organize communities to take care of individuals rather than production of goods and services. That's it, yes, it's focus on the individuals rather than "production".
The production of high quality individuals, the cultivation of emotional and intellectual ascension. A responsibility for oneself and one another.
Yeah, rather than a sandwich I want to reassemble society to compose characteristically strong individuals. ❤ That starts with my own character development and working outwards...
Read moreWe came in about 7 pm it wasnt very busy. 2 people were working. The prices had gone up so we hoped we would get good service? My husband ordered a footlong philly and I had a 6 inch turkey. I asked for Provolone got american, we got the sandwiches toasted. The condiments were low and my husband asked for green peppers olives and mayo. He asked for a little more peppers and the guy drowned the sandwich in them and instead getting more olives put six little olives on there, the last left in the container. My sandwich was ok except the meat. The meat tasted like leather. As soon as my husbands sandwich was wrapped out comes the fresh olives!! The philly meat tasted similar to what one would think dog food would tastes like? We are done with Subway....
