Spring Garden Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Collinsville

The service needs to become one hundred percent better. My mother and I ate breakfast there this morning 2/23/2023

I don't know this waitresses name but she's real heavy. She not very courteous at all. And when we'd say thank you for something there was no response from her. It wouldn't hurt for all of your employees to go through mandatory training classes or something. There was absolutely no reason or excuse for this behavior. I hope that if there's ever a next time dining at your establishment the employees actually know how to act. It's the kindness which gets them farther. We also weren't asked about refills neither. I had to ask her myself which shouldn't of had to do so 😡

But otherwise the food was really very good and delicious. I understand that your short staffed but that's absolutely no reason for treating...

First time there thought the menu was had a lot to pick from waitress kept coming over asking if we were ready yet. Ordered the Taco Salad the waitress messed it up so it had to go back and we waited while my husband's food was getting cold. The prices are a bit on the pricey side for being a mom n pop diner compared to other places in the surrounding area. Overall the Taco Salad was delicious and my husband said his burger was tasty. Watch your ticket when given to you everything is itemized and you are charged for garnishes and your French fries separate it s not come with the burger. My husband paid 15.00 for his cheeseburger that had onion and pickles on it and his French fries. our total bill was 32.25. We won't be back mostly cause...

We use to truly enjoy Spring Garden but lately it seems there has been a big difference. To start with I will say all of the wait staff is friendly and do their job. The last time we went in we had a group of 5 and not one of us enjoyed our food. The Cod was so dry we could barely chew it, 1 person literally left the entire cod on their plate and didnt eat more than a bite or two. The mac n cheese was sooooo bland, tried salt and hot sauce and nothing saved it. Bread was stale. My daughters chicken sandwich was thin, dry, and flavorless. There was more I could say but I think this sums up that the food was horrible, in fact we left and stated to the waitress we have never had that bad of Cod before and we eat out for Fish...
