Good place to eat. The food tasted very good and the price is very reasonable. I ordered The Cuban and it tasted good was plenty to fill you up. Mine did not have the slaw on it for some reason, but was still good. Service was ok. I will definitely visit again.
Update: Went back for breakfast and had a horrible experience. We placed our order, got our drinks (water) and then waited 45 minutes and finally tracked down our waitress (since she hadn't been back to our table) to ask about our food. She had forgotten about our order and even about us seeing that she hadn't been back to our table for refills or anything. My wife finally got her cappuccino, which she said was very good, but we waited another 15 minutes for our food and it finally was brought to us by a different waitress. At that point we had to ask this other waitress for refills (still hadn't been refilled once) and had to ask for our silverware. We finally got to eat, but they completely forgot to bring my pancake. Our ticket was never brought to us, so I had to go to the front counter for the ticket and explain my experience. Honestly, after waiting over an hour to get out food and only getting one refill of our water (and we had to ask for that), and not getting out complete order, I would have figured our ticket would have been forgeten as well in an effort to make it right, but I was wrong again. They took one plate off our ticket. Their excuses was that they were busy. Well being busy doest justify totally forgetting about a table and then not bringing out the complete order or offering refills or even putting silverware on the table. The food was honestly not good either. The breakfast ham is the lunch meat ham from Walmart. I got one sausage patty, I would expect a plate called the "Triple Breakfast" would come with two patties. Needless to say, I will not be going back for breakfast, nor could I recommend the...

High prices. Cheapo lunchmeat sandwich with chips was $13 alone. The food quality is average and breakfast is greasy. Potatoes are always underdone. Our bill was about $45 and thats for two standard entrees.. no appetizers. They continue to charge for every. single. little thing... Condiments of any kind.. refills of tea.. I ask for extra guac.. the plate came out with less than standard?? When I ask for more the kitchen snapped at the server, we don't do extra guac! Uhh..ok? They're always rude about correcting any kitchen mistakes or changes to menu standard. Last time I ever ordered salad here- they'd advertised spring mix on the menu but it came out with limp iceberg lettuce instead. When I sent it back and told them I couldn't eat iceberg the kitchen staff instantly got nasty. They argued to charge for it anyway. Perhaps they feel pressure to keep prices high bc of the city's sky high overhead costs (taxes, water, rent, etc.) that so frequently squelches businesses here, but their attitudes really stink. They arent bothered about making customers feel appreciated.. and they certainly don't come close to the friendliness of other local businesses like Mary's Cafe. I guess people who don't come in much are unaware they're like that in the back... There are also random hour changes...
Read moreWe are here in this town for the next 3 months while my husband's company is working on the pipeline coming through. My husband actually had a day off after 18 days and we were excited to try this local owned place especially since we both love coffee.
As soon as we walked in the lady at the front ran off. There was a small party of 2 in the otherwise empty shop.
I asked two questions about the coffees and how they came. And the rudeness immediately came out. How am I to know a drink called a SWEET Iced Latte comes UNSWEET? Anyway. The way she talked down to me made me immediately change my mind about us eating breakfast here. I ordered my coffee. The man next to her made it fast and slammed it down. No thank you from anyone. No have a good day. And I am very polite. So to say I was so disappointed is an understatement.
Took my mediocre coffee( it was OKAY. I did not care for the flavor at all) and left and we went down the road to another local owned restaurant La Mexicana and we were treated amazing and had some awesome food.
I always read reviews and the ones I read about this place seemed promising. Not really sure what bothered them so much about us as soon as we walked in. We will...
