We stopped here while on our way back home (a few weeks back in early October). We spent a lot of time here since our flight kept getting delayed because of weather, and "the sisters" who served us (one tended bar and the other was our server at the table) were amazing and so was the food and beer selection! They even ended up keeping the bar open later since our flight was stuck waiting for better weather. I had the turkey club (it comes on amazing marble rye bread). The sandwich was perfectly balanced in terms of the ratio of ingredients they used. It went perfectly with the (many) Avalanche beers I ended up having. My wife got the Harvest Salad and loved the pairing of the dressing with the dried fruit. This might be the best meal we've had in any airport and we'll definitely be back here next time we're in Colorado Springs.

It’s a small airport. You need beer before getting on a plane. I’m not expecting a five star restaurant, even though the price is pretty much up there. But for what it is, we had a nice local Colorado pale ale (Dales pale ale) and burgers. Burger and chips (not fries) were actually quite good, more than I had expected. Also got a Caesar salad to go for the plane ride, and the chicken portion was very meager. It was also dry. The greens were fresh though, and there was a generous portion of shaved Parmesan cheese. The to go box was a convenient plastic rather than styrofoam or cardboard, much better for the plane ride. Overall, not many options to choose from but convenient and filling. Plus our server was super nice! I didn’t get her name though.

Breakfast burrito was good. Had a Jack and Coke but it was flat , the nice lady switched it out for me for a bud light which was half the price. Glad we came to an agreement on my 1 drink discount from a $18 Jack and coke that I could of chugged in 2 sips to. $9 bud light. Now that I know the prices which are not listed on the menu I will not be ordering another Jack and coke. It’s not about the money. It’s principal that you don’t need to charge the price of a whole bottle of Jack for 1 glass that has 1 shot in it. Lol. That standard across this airport. Not the employees fault. I can tell she was slightly flustered. I hope they give her a raise.

My friend and I were traveling from Colorado Springs airport back to Vegas on October 29th on a 9pm flight and were pretty bummed when we found out almost all of the food options were closed for the night. The only thing open was the Mountain Vista Grille and Bar, so that's where we went. We were having a hard time finding anything to eat due to our dietary restrictions (she has a gluten allergy and I am a vegan), but our waitress, Teresa B went above and beyond! She was so sweet, attentive, understanding and did everything in her power to make sure there was at least SOMETHING we could nibble on before boarding the flight. She could have just shrugged her shoulders and left us hungry, but instead she tried rounding up extra celery, dips and even a fruit cup (that was not on the menu). Service like that for picky eaters at the end of your shift couldn't have been easy, so I just really wanted to make sure she got a shout out, a gold star and two thumbs up: Thanks Teresa, we appreciate you, and hope your managers know what an asset you are to...

This place would have closed already if it wasnt the only sit down restaurant inside security at COS. I had the audacity to try to order a grill cheese sandwich at 930 in the morning, but as the bordline rude waitess told me they are only serving breakfast. Im a little shocked that 1. Any airport eatery doesnt understand that flyers keep off hours. I myself had already been at the airport since 5 am and had breakfast so something off the lunch menu would be wanted. 2. Since when is a grilled Cheese not a breakfast item?. 3. The is an art to delivering bad news and my waitess showed the skills of a 5 year delivering not only that i wasnt going to get what i was craving, but also pointing out the the sub shop that shared the dinning area made sandwiches. So if you love getting getting mediocre food ( as a frequent flyer un fortunately i eat here more than i like) , gruff service. And then being talked down to tbis is the...
