O'Leary's Pub — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Really small bar. No pool tables but do have dartboards. Front and back door entrances. I came here for karaoke the KJ's Hawk and Veronica of Magic Karaoke are awesome folks. Very talented singers come to sing Friday& Saturday nights. The owners are sweethearts and often at the bar. They have a Heated outdoor patio for smokers (best in town). Small consistently clean bathrooms, stalls have hooks love that, air freshener, hairspray, lotion at side of sink is classy I appreciate that (watch the door ladies). They have hooks under the bar for purses which is genius!! Their bartender Misty is an angel and gives such good service and their cook is very nice also (but the bar food is mostly fried/greasy so I generally eat elsewhere before I go). Their bartender on Saturday nights Kim ignores me when I'm trying to order or need refills and doesn't serve beverages as you order them, once she charged my credit card for my friends tab, I won't go when she's working anymore because her attitude and callus treatment make my visit less than enjoyable. The "reuben" was just sliced blister pack deli meat. Patty melt was so greasy the bottom piece of bread just basically dissolved. Both portions were tiny for the price. The health code violations were atrocious: free roaming dog going into kitchen; the one person serving as waitress/bartender/busser would clear dirty plates then go straight to mixing drinks without so much as rinsing her hands, much less washing them; presumable owner going into kitchen and behind bar in flip flops after smoking a cigarette and not washing...

Not kid/family friendly for a pub! Asked for water with our meal wasn’t given any and was only served one drink per their rule. I have NEVER been cut off after one drink even at normal restaurants let alone a PUB!! Was hoping we found a new spot for celebrating my bday on St. Patrick’s day but after today’s experience we will not be back.

If this is your rule you should post it on the door so people don’t waste money in your establishment because of this non sense. Even restaurants don’t have have rules this...
