So I took my wife and son in on the day before memorial day. This was their first time but I have dined in this establishment numerous times before for business meetings. The waitress greeted us, my wife commented on how beautiful she was after she took our drink order. We got some mozzarella sticks (huge and delicious), two steaks (was well done but I asked for a medium but it was still great tasting as well) and chicken nuggets and fries for my son. Other than to drop off our food I never seen our waitress. I had to refill my own drinks which was kinda surprising to me. After I grabbed the pitcher of water and refilled our cups I thought it would get better. But it was shift change or break and right after we got our entree the gal was about to take off and I had stopped her for some steak sauce. No lie we didn't have anyone come to us until I made awkward eye contact with the waitress who I assume had taken over the other gals tables that had left. Our cups were empty again and I would of refilled our cups myself again but the pitcher that I had returned to the bar never got refilled. We had a majority of our meal left and she asked us if we were ready for to go boxes. With the 2 mozzarella sticks left and 3 entrees with still well over half plates full she brought one box and the bill and took off. I was upset about not enjoying my meal and not getting refills so i didn't pay attention to the bill but I believe I may also have been overcharged for the steaks as on Sunday's they offer $3 off the 10 oz steaks. Not even worried about that. Don't get me wrong the staff was super friendly and the food was great, but the service was just bad. I normally tip well but I did not tip at all this time. I also left a note on my cc receipt as well I know it wont make a difference but I was just so upset and thirsty. I still will go and eat there just hope y'all don't spit in my food and will refill...
Read moreUsed to love this place ,however seems to be going down hill. Ribeyes are becoming more fatty than used to be, over cooked, mashed potatoes hard lumps in them. Wait staff seems to be ontop of those at bar, but not if your at a table. Few bites into my food and already being asked if I needed a box, within a minute of that im brought my check as if I was being rushed out. Check had a $4 and some change fee (apparently a credit card fee) on it. Reciept stated non- cash adjustment fee. Asked waitress what it was she stated, " I don't know were just told to charge it". Asked is it that way if I pay cash she said no. Asked how she could charge it if she Never asked if I was using a credit card. She stated I will get a new receipt. " Interesting ". Just makes it look like they could be charging customers a fee for a extra tip or something especially when your waitress doesn't know what it is and says she is just told to charge it!!!! Also hollering across bar if your ok as if to lazy to walk over to table to check on you. This non - cash adjustment fee possibly is being charged and consumers probably don't even know about it, atleast warn customers about it prior to service as well as being knowledgeable of what fee is!!!! Maybe we're being charged this to cover liquor losses from bar tenders who way over pour on mixed drinks, who are seen taken the pour spouts off the liquor bottles and pouring an unknown amount of liquor in the glass and or metal shakers. Over all just very disappointing visit as I have referred lots of people to this place as there Ribeye used to way better than Texas Road House. I can understand food and drink prices have and will go up, but with no reason given to the extra fee ,and waitresses having No idea what is, this leads to the question " what is this"!!! Is it legit???? My question is does the Owner know about this fee or even know customers are being...
Read moreVery disappointed. I have been going here for years. The last time we were here was a couple of months ago and the service/food wasn’t stellar but restaurants have been having a lot of difficulty lately with staffing. I get that.
Today was ridiculous. The four of us went in and ordered within moments of sitting down because we knew what we wanted. They were out of several things, but I get that too. It happens. Drinks were brought to the table. Then nothing for about 45 minutes. The boys sodas were never refilled, even when we asked for refills the waitress never came back to do so. I had to ask the guy who was stocking the beer cooler if he could please top off their cups. When our food finally did arrive, the wife’s was way over cooked to the point it was almost inedible. My meal was wrong and had to be sent back. On top of that, the french fries that accompanied the meal were barely cooked. The ones that came with the boys burgers were cooked perfectly. We asked if they could throw them back in for a little while so they could be fully cooked. They opted to make us more fries while we waited for my meal to come back. They brought more fries out and they were as undercooked or more than the first two sets. I finally got my sandwich as everyone else was finishing their meal. We talked to four representatives, the waitress, the guy stocking the beer, who we thought was the manager and possibly the owner.
They brought us a to go container so we could “take home our fries and cook them ourselves“. For all the trouble, they gave us a five dollar discount. How generous. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review I have been going there for years. I won’t...
