Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado

My god. Where do I began? These people can not handle a simple request. I ordered a stuffed pizza on their app and customized it. Half with pineapple because my partner likes gross pizza and the other half with pepperoni.

When we walked in the 20year old girl “Alysa” or whatever instantly said rudely “you ordered this customized pizza, just so you know we aren’t even supposed to be able to do that with stuffed pizzas” I said “ok… well it was on the app..I didn’t know that” And then I asked (which I always do) for them to place the toppings on top of the pizza as well so I know which side is which. In ten years of doing this I’ve never had a problem with these people. But this girl acted like I just asked her to split an atom with a lobster. Like her brain couldn’t even comprehend such a complex request. And said “I can’t do that…. But we can ask my manager”

So she got her manager angie … and this woman looked like she crawled out of a bog. Her hair was stale blond and it was crispy, no hair net in site for any of them. Her eyes looked like she just seen the end of the universe, they were scary. So I asked her my request and she said “ITLL COST EXTRA, WE ARENT EVEN SUPPOSED TO CUSTOMIZE STUFFED PIZZAS 🧌🧌🧌” I said “yah so you’ve all told me many times… like it’s my fault that it’s still an option on your app…” “but that’s fine I’ll pay extra, I’ve just never had this problem for the last many years I’ve been ordering this” And she yelled crazily “IVE BEEN HERE FOR SEVEN YEARS” 👁️👁️ And I’m like… “oh…Kay…”

So then as they’re making my pizza After making me pay five dollars extra Just to put a couple pepperonis on top, The tall girl with black hair Looks at me again And once again repeats how she’s not supposed to be customizing it for me. That sent me. I told him to keep their damn pizza. I’m Here to listen to them complaining or whining about what they can’t do even though it’s on the app. They were just being lazy. I went down the road to a different papa Murphy by the kind soopers and the girl there did the exact order I asked for, she was extremely sweet and told me she used to work with these people but quit.

So tldr: these people are not good at their jobs go to the one by king...

This store was amazing! The food is always great in general but the service is hit out miss at certain locations but I was very impressed by Reggie and Karlee! I was that customer who called right before closing.. 🫣 and then on my way i made a wrong turn so i got there a little after 8pm..

what im impressed with is how nice they both were immediately when walking in.. A lot of younger kids & even adults are so annoyed and pissed at customers who come in right before closing and they show ever bit of there frustration by being snoty and rude... But not these two🤗

Reggie was so sweet, patient & went above and beyond for me.. Not only was i a last minute order, I also wanted extra marinara and frosting with cheese bready and the cinnamon dessert... Well they didn't have any premade like they usually do, which i didnt realize until watching Reggie go into cooler and knock over a bunch of salads while trying to pull the tub of frosting out to fill just one cup for me!! 🙏 I felt horrible! Had i known i would have skipped the extra frosting 😅 he even said he was trying to get to the frosting without me seeing bc he didn't want me to feel bad for having him do all that extra work!

Karlee was also very kind when taking my order and did an excellent job in not making me feel like a jerk for ordering right before they closed! She double checked my order and name also... Karlee, I want to say THANK YOU for even answering the phone! Without you I would not be so excited about my dinner tonight!! 🙏 ❤️🙏

Most places have picked up very bad habits of not answering the phone when it is close to closing time and that is a bad way to run a buisness... Honestly the fastest way to lose a customer! Especially when it ALWAYS happens!

Im incredibly grateful for you both & Im so excited for my dinner tonight! I've been trying to get here before 8pm for almost 2 months! 🤗

Employees like this are hard to find these days so i hope you treat them well papa murphy's!! THANKS Reggie & Karlee!! I will make this store my regular...

Papa Murphy's is easily my favorite takeout pizza place - there aren't many places that do a better thin crust meatlovers. The ingredients just taste fresher, are of higher quality, and they never skimp on the toppings (looking at you Domino's).

The problem I've run into at this location is with online ordering. If you get anything custom done to your pizza there's a high chance it'll be ignored if you order online. It's a widespread issue I've experienced at most other locations but it's still an issue here.

The easiest solution is just to call-in the order every time; my order has always been correct when taken over the phone.

The staff is always friendly tough on a few occasions they've been goofing off instead of putting together pizzas or serving customers at the register. Given the young age of most employees this is somewhat expected, but still annoying when it happens...
