So my bf and I stopped here on the way to a friend's house in Franktown... A) because he has never been to sedalia and B) because I love icecream!! Anyways if ypu are ever in Sedalia I would for sure stop into the bakery. The atmosphere was great, they had amazing cakes and pies and the service was just great!!! I loved everything about it!!! Yay! 5 out of 5 for sure!!!!

I was working in Sedalia and had to find a bathroom. Saw this place and bought some kind of lemon cookie. Me and family can’t stop dreaming about getting more of these lemon cookies. I wish I lived in Sedalia. I would go here once a week. Thank you so much!!!

Delicious homemade cakes and sweets. First time there and the costume service was very great!! Wish there was more bread options but it's s pretty small shop. But I still recommend.

Okay, so they didn't have a strawberry/rhubarb pie when we stopped in but, they did have a Dutch Apple Pie. With this place the only complaint I have is that there is so much good stuff, it's hard to make up your mind: I always manage to pick something! It's locally owned -- the family that owns O'Brien's got so many people requesting pies, cakes, etc. from their restaurant they decided to open a bakery with the same -- good -- super-yummy stuff! And, if you haven't eaten at O'Brien's yet -- you're in for another treat. The menu is an encyclopedia of great food, and OH those pies and cakes. But, in the long run -- it's a small town with a family that contributes more than just food to the whole community. Don't miss a chance for a real treat -- try O'Brien's and once you've sampled a dessert or?? drop...

If I could rate this bakery -45 stars I would. The owner (I’m assuming) gave us moldy cake. Not even kidding. Moldy chocolate cake. If I would’ve eaten more than the one bite I had, I would’ve been extremely sick. I already felt unwell. Not only that. The inside was so dirty and disgusting. One of the most unsanitary places I’ve ever seen in my life. A health official needs to look into this place. It’s horrible and dangerous for your health. Please please please do not support this business. Avoid this bakery at all...

My favorite bakery! I travel 45mins happily to get gluten free bread and sweets. The ice cream also is local and helps another family. Who doesn't love that? Also the take and cook pot pies are amazing. It's enough for my family of five. 2 small kidos and 3 adults. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. The small charm is not lost here either. Stop in after a hike or drive and it makes your day...
